I always think her execution score is so underscored. Her exercise is SO beautiful and well executed.

Not gonna lie, I feel bad that Morgan and all these other girls have to compete with Simone. She is literary the most dominant gymnast like ever and while I am super happy for Simone, it kinda sucks for all the other girls knowing that Simone will probably win(which is NOT Simone’s fault) again.

Meg Beth I don’t. They should up their game to compete with Simone. They need to apply pressure to Simone and let her know that there will be co sequences if she falters. So far, they’ve failed to do that.
Daniel that's kind of a ridiculous thing to say. Simone is a once in a lifetime gymnast. Being a hockey fan as well, I will use the analogy that it would be like if someone had told the other players to just go out and score as many goals as Wayne Gretzky when he was playing. There is a reason athletes like him and Simone are so rare...they can accomplish things that even other top athletes in their sport can't come close to doing. They are exceptional.

Daniel Simone biles did the triple double which means she’s capable of a triple back on floor and she also attempted a triple twisting double tuck off beam! We all knows she overrotates that double double layout so she may do a triple double layout and a triple yurchenko! No matter how hard the girls try now they can’t catch up! The only way to win gold is for Simone to make major mistakes and falls
Morgan was a BEAST tonight - so solid. You can tell she wants to be number 1..or number 2 as it may be, haha. I'm really impressed with how much she's improved from Worlds last year.
Im SO frustrated to see this e-score for this artistic majestic routine. THE EXECUTION WAS NOT JUST 2 TENTHS BETTER THAN JADE CAREY WTF😡! And then Jade and Jordan getting an 8 on beam like judges why yall even playin them like that? They gon show up at Worlds looking like BooBoo The Clown and the intl judges will have a circus with those e-scores😫. Just stop the favoritism politics. Score people fairly so they can fix things [and don't leave home gymnasts who will score better internationally for domestic stars]. 13.8 is basically what Morgan scored at Worlds last year with a lack of accuracy and confidence. Morgi keep doing you. REAL judges will appreciate you when the time comes, just get to Worlds so it can happen. (Disclaimer: no hate on Jade or Jordan but let''s be realistic about what the CoP is gonna reward, ya know)
Jade has two worlds silver medals.. one of them being floor.. so I’m sure she’s fine lol
Keith Robinson reading is fundamental. I mentioned jade being unrealistically scored on beam. And TODAY'S fx was not near to the standard of Morgan's or what Jade did to receive a silver world medal so 👌

kareharpies I watched Jade’s beam routine and it was probably the best one she’s ever done. It was totally deserving of the execution score it got. Also, Morgan takes multiple steps on some of her landings and botched her ring 1/1 jump at the end (and has sloppy landings on her other jumps). I doubt this would receive higher than an 8.0 internationally.
i don't think we watched the same routine because the only sloppy landing would have been a her last pass which was only .4 tenths her jumps were fine maybe .1-.2 for precision and she never did a ring 1/1, this for sure would be well over 8.0 considering her jumpy floor routine last year was over an 8.0 with a penalty.
This girl has it all: power, elegance, great leaps, artistry. My fave floor so far. I'd like to see her and Riley fight for the AA spot at worlds.
GiantEmeraldPanda yes, she is better than Riley at the moment. Hopefully Riley'll be able to make up for the lack of difficult with her execution. Morgan has an advantage of 1 point rn but Riley had some troubles with landings so we'll see what happen on night 2!!
So enjoyable to watch. If she can stick those landings, what a threat!

Ikr she definitely should of gotten a 14 I think if she adds a jump out of the silivas she can definitely get 14s more consistently because of the landing deduction and the cv

Ember Amos The judges are emulating the strictness we saw at worlds 2017. This routine likely wouldn’t have gone above an 8.0 execution score last worlds. Too much shuffling on landing, loss of control on leaps and she botched her final jump (which most people haven’t noticed).

This is what I’d like to see her do: first pass: moors; second: 1 1/2 to Arabian punch layout like Raisman did as her mount; third: Silivas; 4jh: full-in double pike.
im so so happy that they decided to change the moors to a double double. gorgeous routine. i however, dont think it was underscored. but appropriately scored. its not a BAD score !

I'm kind of glad she took the Moors out. She should probably work on it a bit more so she doesn't break her legs doing it. I think she can still do it if she does keep working on it though. It's fantastic to see how much she's improving overall! Second of the day behind Simone thus far!
Anyway this routine is gorgeous and should be scoring miles above tumblers like Jade. I do hope she can eek in a Chuso as her second pass by worlds. I'm actually happy she's going with the Silivas as her opening.
Harsh score
She slightly watered down the first pass. At the US Classic, she did it in the layout position
Dontay Kelly it was a very smart decision! Makes sense since the Moors is only worth 0.1 more and she lost more than she gained on execution. Her Silivas is much cleaner!!
She did a moors last time but she has a pike in it which is a deduction
Dontay Kelly she took it out because what she did tonight (the tucked version) was .1 lower than the moors, but she was losing a lot more in the e score that if she did the tuck, so she decided to swap them
Grace ... That was what she said in her interview afterwards ... that she took out certain things because she was losing more than she was gaining, and wanted to play it safe.
8.250 is a fair execution score. She stumbled on a few of her landings. Also, she botched her last jump (1/1 ring jump) and made it just a 1/1 split. If y'all think the judges at worlds would've given her a higher execution score, y'all have a rude awakening coming in October.
Honestly instead of doing the MOors she should just do a layout full. Only a tenth difference in d score and would boost her about 2 tenths overall
What is the highest score now didnt they change the score system
