I am 100% italian (and half ligurian) and i can't stand this movie, it's annoying !.
I state that I have seen the film both in Italian and in English, some things are already annoying in Italian and in English is worse! . The reasons in general are many: the plot is too simple and flat, I’m sick and tired of Italy being shown back in the '50s/'60s, it’s full of stereotypes, all those exclamations containing food are stupid and nobody says "Santa mozzarella", competitions for those who eat more are not an Italian thing and in Italy no one would propose a large plate of pasta and immediately after a swim
