Amazing array of demonstrations of true masculinity:body builders, actors, politicians, founding fathers, artists, musicians, scientists, astronauts, cosmonauts, leaders, rulers, inventors, entrepreneurs, public speakers, philosophers, authors, etc. Hopefully this will bring to light truly what the world should be.

People forget what femininity and masculinity is and some even forget that they're not inherently bad.

    • @dflaming1371
      @dflaming1371 Před 2 lety +1046

In the SIMPLEST of terms masculinity is drive and femininity is nurturing.
A man with drive will accomplish anything, but if he cannot nurture it it will fall to pieces in moments
A woman who can nurture will keep anything alive, but without drive it shall never grow
      And vice versa
Bad drive leads to things toppling from the outside: wars, unresolved fights, families and businesses warring within and without, all "obstacles", the 'others' , ideals and people included, being recklessly and aggressively destroyed
Overbearing nurturing requires that no harmful, painful, or difficult thing be allowed, and will kill a system from within. Restrictions of speech and expression, demonization of the "other", and non physical attacks that hurt finances, reputation, facts ad credibility are it's weapons
Both require balance and wisdom.the trap people fall into is that Masculinity and femininity are concepts, labeled as such because a majority of men and a majority of women exhibit such traits. Statistically, about 10% of people are the "opposite" of theirs. And then everyone else sits somewhere slightly different on the sliding scale.

I’ll try and keep it brief but:
It’s the charred body of Cosmonaut Vladimir Komarov. Him and Yuri Gagarin were assigned to an Earth Orbiting mission in a capsule that they knew was shoddily constructed and not safe to travel in.
Gagarin and some other senior technicians had inspected the thing and he wrote a report to a KGB friend stating all the structural issues with it. Trouble is no one dared to send it up to higher command out of fear of being reprimanded.
Komarov was told by the KGB mutual to refuse the mission to which he replied that they would send Yuri instead.
Sure enough when Komarov was in orbit the capsule began to have a number of issues. Upon re-entry the capsule failed to deploy the parachutes. U.S listening posts caught his transmissions as he plunged to his death.
From what I recall reading somewhere else he specifically requested to have an open-casket funeral before leaving to show high command that they had his blood on their hands.
NPR has an article on the event if you want to read up on it, and as well as that last transmission. Check wikipedia too for some other info.

And crying was usually thought as giving up and not dealing with your problems. How are you going to help others if you can't even help yourself with your problems. Men are supposed to put up against loss or grief so that they can move on and become better people. That is the reason, there you go. :)

I think the reason why women bring it up a lot because a lot of women are feminists, and forcing the belief that men should reject femminine behaviors because they’re associated with women and therefor weakness, is sexist. I was recently watching Dune and seeing Josh Brolin yell "WITH ME!" While leading a bunch of guys to fight an entire army was incredible. That is true masculinity.
I feel like I need to address this with some context. Basically in the film Josh Brolin and his men saw their entire air fleet and ships be completely destroyed. As they were unprepared the enemy came down on them. What makes that scene exude masculinity is the courage it takes to face a foe ten times your size. The men in the film were hardly given a moment to gather themselves and realize what was happening, and yet they still fought. They put their feelings inwards and drew weaponry to bring hope to others. Behind them was their home and they were willing to fight for it.

@@vrajroy1976 not that she disrespected them but i guess it’s just not relevant to issues that men are facing. i’m on board with what she said tho
