  • EDIT - I've since learnt that I'm holding my rotary cutter wrong! I'll leave this video up to show my first time cutting, but will do an updated one with better (and safer) rotary holding positioning 🙈. Here's a link to how to actually hold a rotary cutter: ‱ How to (actually) use ...
Watch me try and cut Faux leather pattern pieces for the Cardholder pattern by Sewfisticated Craft Designs using a rotary cutter and template piece for the first time! Seriously, this was so easy! I'm definitely going to need to invest in more templates for all my bag patterns!

Really appreciate you testing out the curve cutting!!!! That’s what I wasn’t sure about in terms of buying the templates. Thanks!
    One thing though
.you probably know but just in case. These rotary cutters should really be used cutting away from you. So you are holding the cutter ergonomically as well. Like, hand above the handle like holding a steak knife. With the nature of the round blade, it can easily roll towards you if you cut the way you’re doing it now.

Thank you â€ïžđŸ™ I've just had someone else message to tell me and I've just tried cutting it like a steak knife and it's soo much easier (and definitely feels much safer!) I didn't know about the cutting away from me bit though, so will definitely try it!!! Thank you for taking the time to comment ❀
