Thank you for this! I was wondering, what was the dance ability of everyone in the audition process, was it varied? My strongest art form is singing and acting, but my dancing isn't as technical and I was wondering if this was something you think will be my downfall. Don't get me wrong I can dance, but just haven't trained in my exams like most other people. :)
From what I can remember, you just learn a show routine in the dance audition, there’s no technique round, it’s more about performing through dance, throwing your self into it and seeing what rough level you’re at! and it’s a very mixed ability!
Hi Matilda! On the initial application form, do you know if you need a professional headshot? I can't find anywhere on the website saying you do, but I'm not sure if an amateur headshot on a smart phone is a good idea?

How long did it take for you to get an audition? I applied for LSMT a few days ago and paid the £20 audition fee, but haven't heard anything back yet.
I got sent a letter with my audition date! So it will probably be maybe a week or so !

Also, I'm no dancer and I'm about as flexible as a twig. Does the dance part of the audition (and dance in general at the school) require any sort of flexibility? I'm working on gaining some of my flexibility back, so maybe it'll help.
