What about a skid plate for the front & rear diff- like the Rancho Performance product? Would you go with something like that or an aftermarket diff cover? I always thought the factory diff covers were shaped by the engineers at Jeep to bathe those gears optimally so that's why I wondered about the Rancho type skid plates over an after market diff cover---what say you?
A lot of people like them but I personally have never been a fan as they seem to hang down below on the already low diff. Even my Jeep WJ that had a D44A with it's aluminum center housing that is way softer than a steel housing, was still in great shape after dragging it over rocks for 6 years.
