Eldritch is used WRONGLY for Lovecraftian entities. Eldritch means "ghostly", "misteryous", it never meant "spacial" or "alien". In this skin Morgana describes her gods as deformed animals, not as tentacular monstrosities.

I didn’t even know Coven was connected w Elderwood and Solar/Lunar Eclipse. Here’s to hoping a complementary skin for Kayle
Witchslayer Kayle. Lol
Basically, Coven are witches who serve dark, old Gods ( Like Elderwood Nocturne) , trying to ressurect them using the magic found within the enchanted elderwood forest, after they were slain by the knights of the eclipse ( Who took the power of the sun and moon to kill them, hence the eclipse name ) .
TL;DR Coven want to use the magic of Elderwood to revive their gods who were slain by Eclipse.
Wasn't Morg and LB already have Elderwood-related skins? And Kayle already has one, wouldn't that ruin the skin universe?
The fact that this Morgana skin has so many lines with Kayle means that she’s going to be getting a skin in this theme for sure!
She calls Kayle ‘Sun - Eater’ so maybe Eclipse since the Eclipse eats the sun...
But for this year, I am really hoping for there to be a Kayle skin in the Immortal Journey’s Skinline.
Morgana is already there and it will be really nice to have Kayle on it.
It will be STUNNING! ✨
A Star Guardian Kayle would be great too but I don’t know how they will add her since Janna and Syndra are just a little older than the others but look so old.
But they managed to make Soraka look young so maybe Kayle could fit in.
I also would love to have a Dawnbringer Kayle to come in this year in December.
If it’s that, then I don’t mind waiting for a new Kayle skin till the end of this year.
I really hope we don’t get an Arcade/BattleBoss Kayle or one from the Battle Academy because I just feel it doesn’t fit her aesthetic.
I’m sad that Riot doesn’t do Kayle - Morgana opposite skins anymore like Viridian & Blackthorne...

I feel worse about the fact that Morgana has 2 skins now since her rework (her last was in November and now in March OMG) and Kayle has none since there (their rework was 1 year ago...)

Most of Kayle’s great skins (in my opinion) are Legacy like Transcended and Judgement and Silver and I want more Kayle skins like Viridian 😅😫🥰

"A Horned Owl." Refers to Morgana since she worships the Horned Owl God and she transforms into one when she recalls.
All of them correspond to the Old Gods they worship. Just like how Illaoi has Nagakabouros, the Giant Octopus God. It also contrasts the Bewitching skins which are the skins that show the Stereotypical witch archetype. That's why there are no bats, cats or any symbol of Halloween Skins in the concept.
