Here is my take on the Eagles. Every year there is one team that comes out blazing. Everyone jumps on the wagon and starts proclaiming them winners before December. The Falcons/Cowboys last year. Carolina before that, Arizona/Denver/Seattle/San Fran before that. Baltimore and the Giants as well before that. The Texans when Shaub was the QB and Watt had just emerged. Denver, Seattle, Giants and Baltimore won a Super Bowl, but what has happened to them since? What happened to Carolina/Atlanta? They fell off a cliff.
Remember when everyone had crowned Kansas city as the champions when they were 5 - 0 this year and had beaten the Patriots on opening night? Where are the Chiefs and where are the Patriots? 6 -4 with 4 out 5 losses versus 8 - 2 with 6 straight wins and 13 straight road wins.
In the end there are always the same 2 or 3 teams in the running in January year in and year out. All the other teams are usually nothing more than a flash in the pan that year or for a couple years. It's always Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers. It's always New England and Tom Brady. It's Pittsburgh and Big Ben. There are only a few teams that are in contention every single year.
The Patriots have had a legit chance every year for the past 17 season except 2008. Never had really high draft picks, had to go through the schedule of being a division winner i.e. playing other division winners, revolving door of players. And still managed to win consistently. We all know the stats by now.
Aaron Rodgers has never had a defense and he still carries his team on his back as you can clearly see from how GB looks without him. With him in the game you always have a chance as Dallas knows all too well.
If it weren't for the Patriots and Brady/Belichick, Big Ben and Pittsburgh would have probably been in at least two more Superbowls. He is a legit battle tested big time QB. Their defensive scheme hasn't been the best at times and needs to be changed.
To be fair, I think Carson Wentz might be legit and this won't be just a fluke. He might be the best QB in the league in the next generation when Brady/Rodgers retire. However, we still have to see him prove it when it's down to the wire and the whole season is on the line against the best of the best. To be the Man, you have to beat the Man. I think he can do it, but we will have to wait and see.

The Dallas Cowboys front office needs to work on building depth so that if a starter goes out there isn’t a drastic drop in production like you see when Sean Lee is out. JB EAGLES20 Coming into the year, our main problems on paper were RB and CB. Now you can argue they are our two positions with the most depth. With Darby coming back and playing like he is even off injury with Mills and Robinson performing so well plus Sidney Jones is supposed to be healthy soon.

COWBOYS FAN HERE! Looking realistically at the game before kick-off, I thought the final score would be 34-10 Eagles. I wasn't far off. It just feels like this season has been a waste with all the drama going on off the field. Happy for the Eagles. I really respect Carson Wentz and he has been playing outstanding. I'm looking for them to be in the Superbowl. At least we'll have a good team representing the NFC East.

That game was sweet payback as a cowboys fan. And also the 2018 game in Philly but the 2021 was nice for us lol.
Eagles are stacked for sure this year. Great WR's, great RB's, TE's, Wentz is killing it at QB and a quality D. They are going to be tough to beat down the stretch.
Wentz is scary at the rate he is improving he will be one of the greatest in no time at all.

Lynnyrd Eyz that’s what everyone said about Dak... I’m not a huge eagles fan but I can respect their season (easy teams or not they’re going to be hard to beat). I feel like we will have to wait until later this season when there is a lot more on the line to really see how he is going to preform against some good defense.

Nah, Romo would have given you a better chance for this game. Dak for all that he does still can't throw into coverage. That is something Romo could do well. Without a running back like Zeke Dak becomes very ordinary. I think Wentz is the better of the two and has more upside. I thank the Browns everyday for that gift.
