My specialty is taking a diverse assortment of songs and making them flow together in a way that makes sense harmonically, rhythmically, and lyrically - an art that, to me, is the very essence of playing live music. Great Harvest album was a masterpiece! This man is elusive! The tiny venue hurts my heart because I would have been there!!! Oh man, Gordon, your one mind-blowing album could have been utilized to further the rest of those wonderful melodies into something that was brought to the uninitiated. Alas, I am only a small mental health business and not a record or Hollywood producer. But they stupid if they do not put your beautiful songs out there to be Appreciated. I am now done.

@@Powlean I'll have you know, I wore that cassette out and the CD when I had a CD player every track was incredible the remake pailed in comparison but at least most of your words gained some notoriety. When it was popular I made mention the original was much better original lyrics too, always putting a plug in for "Canadian" at the same time, it brought me through a lot of darkness still does, hope this finds you well!

I have a question for his fans, why did he never take off? Not sure his genre but he deserved so much more than he got. I have pondered this for many years, me 52 and first listened to this a long time ago.
I think these kind of artists in 90’s they were more inclined to a moral rectitude, his unpopularity could be due to the fact that he did not want to advertise a sunscreen ... while the famous one already did it as a child!?! At this point I’m a fan of the energy this song is about.

Gordon had to sue the music company because they gave Eddie Vedder the permission to do the song. He was never asked by Eddie.

If I weren’t advised in this comment section I would never know from anywhere else in my knowledge that was a cover. When the soundtrack came out I spent some time reading the credit, big surprise when I figured almost the best songs and the most weren’t written by Eddie
