Not fully related to this, but United have really struggled with a good and reliable right-back, as well as other big teams in the prem. So an amazing player that prem teams can get on the cheap is Tavernier. Plays for Rangers and for me personally one of the best fullbacks in the world right now. He’s proved himself by playing a big part in a rangers side that destroyed Dortmund and got to the Europa league final. His stats are looking better than Trent and I’m surprised he’s not been offered a fat pay check at United or City. What do you think?

I think you have left one club out of the honourable mentions that should be their this week. They have only spent 55m but they never spend any money. There getting business done and that is Wolverhampton. They bought in Nathan Collins to go to a 4 at the back and got Goncalo Guedes for 35m and he was worth 60m 2 season ago and it just shows the smart business they are doing.

Couple things though. Puig’s salary with Galaxy is like 1 million annual so he’s not getting the bag. Unless there’s foul play which many have suspected.
Gvardiol also wouldn’t be available for £60 million more like £80-90 million and it looks like they want Fofana and maybe even De Jong.
