Mike always knows how to fill in gaps where the classics had. With Aaron’s direction, this felt straight out of season 3 or 4.
This was a superb episode. Oliver and Diesel interacting was something new and I like how this takes place after the events of 'Toad Stands By'. This had a Series 3 feel and I loved the accident with the points. The boys at the end with the cameras was a funny sight. I didn't expect the face at 3:35, that was a surprise.
Wasn't expecting Diesel to provide a little distraction from Oliver's dilemma. Good show.

I enjoyed this. Really feels like something out of Season 3. I especially like how Diesel's words came back to bite him.
Nice job on the accident and comeback that Diesel received for his remarks towards Oliver. And I beamed when The Fat Controller showed up. Plus, the boys arriving to take pictures was a cool touch.
Just like Thomas and Percy said, "Even Troublesome Trucks can do you a favor sometimes, like getting rid of a smelly old Diesel!"
Being an adult these days I always have a giggle at the lore of Thomas and Friends.
Fat Controller: I'm very disappointed in you Diesel. I expected you to tidy the yard.
Me: We aren't going to talk about who was responsible for the points are we? 😂
