When you mentioned the book on the ship that was sunk in the second world war I thought of the composer Granados and his wife who lost their lives in the first world war in such a way.The French book also reminds me of a song,Je suis ne au milieu de la mer,sung by Alan Stivell.Keep up the painting!💝
