- Showing some features that should have been part of the mission:
-Unused dialogue between Jimmy and Russell. In the final version Russell uses some of these lines when charging his headbutt attack.
-Mid fight cutscene. In the final version it was used as a bad ending.
-Russell's alternative fighting stance, which I showed in a previous video. - Hry
Bully seems to be much more social and have more interaction in the beta.
I don't know why, but developers take the beta, strip it of it's glory, and put it on the shelf.
It's a phenomena, but nowadays they sell the 'good parts' as DLC.
Terrible Tanner Usually it seems like the best parts because you're not use to it. But sometimes they are also removed if they don't think it fits the angle (which this doesn't seem to). And due to time and memory.

true it makes game more alive and jimmy acts like an introvert in-game

I do not understand why they did not used Jimmy talking outside of cutscenes mission specific quotes I ment cj was doing that perfectly fine in gta San Andreas
Neither me. In the final version he never replies the other characters, seems so robotic. In this aspect the beta version is much better iMO.

well he does talk in-game but barely in wrong part of town during the drive-by he says "here they come i will hold them off just try not to crash into anything chad" and one down
during fighting johnny vincent
if johnny gets off his bike jimmy says "lets see how you do it in an even fight"
during stronghold assault when jimmy is asking fatty and cornelius earnest whereabouts he says "hey losers mind telling me where your fearless leader is" if the dialogue is done by using thumbs up or "whats up nerdlings where's earnest" if the dialogue is done by thumbs down
then in finding johnny vincent he asks an orderly "you want your break"
3:07 the noise russel made when he screamed, and then proceeded to chase you around, sorta scares me 😱

Wow, definetly Bully was supposed to be way more complete. It feels like we got like 40% of the actual game.
Don't get me wrong, the final game is awesome, but some parts of the plot and other stuff seemed incomplete or out of place. When i watch your videos,.this feels just dissappear.

The only part that was a little different was when Jimmy responding to Russell and Russell's low-pitch banshee screaming cutscene.
Lee Ellen Etzel and he used an unused strafe after a middle fight cutscenes which in the beta instead of a middle fight cutscenes is used if you lost to Russell instead
There should have another wrestling move in Bully where Russell powerbombs Jimmy but Jimmy reverses Russell powerbomb into a flying ddt

I wonder how beta Russell would have sounded like. You know, when the Bullworth colors were burgundy and beige. I think he still had his dumbfounded voice, but since he was smarter back then, he’d speak better English and make quick thoughts.

3:24 does he do that move in the finished Game? I saw it here for the first time and it looks like it could break your spine. That's a little crazy.
There is that game though, called "Urban Reign" that I used to play ( can't find the CD anymore for some reason) and I think one of the Characters actually had that move aswell.
I don't believe he does that move in the real game, which is a spinal lock submission hold called the Boston Crab that I've seen in wrestling but I do know he uses a Powerbomb which is another pro wrestling move that Jimmy can reverse into a bulldog Facebuster. Russell watches too much WWE apparently.

So the alternate ending cutscene of russell winning was actually supposed to be a cutscene to get you to the second phase of the battle?
Damn they changed it alot.
Most bosses had a mid fight cutscene, they probably removed them because it slowed down the pace of the boss fight. Russell, Johnny, Earnest and Edgar had them.
