Ink: Diamine Cocoa Shimmer

I was quite on a roll with my video taking until it all came to a screeching halt for some reason or another (life). I recorded this in September 2023, and now it’s four plus months later and I am finally done with editing it… and I haven’t even touched the 14 plus videos/reels still waiting to be edited 😫.
Oh well…
I needed another brown ink to add to my small but often used collection of other brown inks, and since my Narwhal (now Nahvalur) x ‪@galenleather‬ fountain pen (medium nib) needed an ink that was a lot less wet, and I didn’t have any brown shimmer ink in my repertoire, I decided it would make the perfect pairing. Plus, the shininess of the fountain pen seems like it would look good with some shimmer ink inside the transparent barrel.
After some ink selection and elimination at ‪@PenGalleryKualaLumpur‬ I decided on a bottle of Diamine Cocoa Shimmer. Ideally a brown one with rose gold shimmer would make the perfect pairing, but I couldn’t find one. This combination works well though! The juiciness of the pen means the shimmer flows nicely through the nib, although some shaking of the pen is needed before writing to make sure it is evenly spread out.
So far I am enjoying this combination. This ink suits the pen well and it now feels a lot nicer to write with, so I guess I’ll be keeping it around for awhile!
