Monthly Journal: January 2023

Maybe it’s because it’s Ramadan and I have been using the pockets of time between breaking of fast, prayers, dinner and terawih to edit my videos, but uploading this so soon (a week!) after the last video is certainly good progress. Let’s hope I’ll be able to keep this momentum going post-puasa when things get back to ‘normal’.
My journal layouts for 2023 seem to be starting on a positive note in terms of design. The progress of putting the layouts together has been slow though thanks to work and a couple of trips (finally!). I only got to complete this January insert the following month, which is why you might have noticed a splice in the video. I didn’t want the first few days of January to go by without me writing my entries, so I decided to record whatever I had done first, and do the rest later when everything else was finally complete. Let’s hope I won’t have to do this again for the rest of the year, or, ever!
Please excuse the sudden shift in transition for the copy too. I had typed everything out and only noticed the transition changed after reviewing the video! Unfortunately, I couldn’t quite get back the original transition, so I just had to make do. It’s also entirely possible that you might not have noticed at all… 😅
