If Edge got that heated at Ricky Starks for doing his job and being a heel, imagine how he'd react if the Cowboy went out and cut a shoot promo on him like he did with Punk.
Wait till Adam Copeland meets Jungle Jackoff and he'd definitely anger him enough he'd goozled the kid leading to him getting released by Tiny Con.
Yeah it took punk 9 months, 3-4 of which were whisper campaigns by meltzer, that shoot by page, the shoot by Bobby fish, and finally losing his shit at that scrum.
All it took was one comment to edge lol
@@TheMrAlgoh I just find it hilarious that Edge once took a shot at AEW by saying they need to constantly mention WWE Superstars in order to get cheap pops, when he's there for less than a month and already doing the same damn thing. lol
Amen.
Jungle jackoff = GOLDEN COMMENT 😭😂😂😂😂
I am absolutely crying with laughter over here. It only took like three weeks for the AEW faithful to go from practically proclaiming that Edge is doing the best work of his entire career to calling him thin skinned and overrated, lol. That's got to be a record.
I don’t like the disrespect edge is getting but you are right how fickle.
@@pleaseshutup7053he is getting the young sucks treatment, soon they will treat edge like they did punk.
@@unknownsample4801 yep
@@unknownsample4801his run after losing to roman wasn't good neither
Not an AEW fan, but he is overrated.
The cheek of Edge calling Ricky Starks a vanilla midget whilst stood next to Bryan Danielson!
Danielson having flashbacks of his fued with The Miz over a decade ago back in the early NXT days.
While his bosses are vanilla midgets
The entire company is full of glorified vanilla midgets, that's a really bad insult to throw in AEW.
Marks can say what they want but miz cooked bryan on the mic more than once. They will never admit it tho but miz verbally abused him and his last shoot one on that aftershow was 100% spot on about bryan.@@TheMrAlgoh
@@johnnyboogalo4897The Miz was the reason Danielson started to get over, props to Miz because 90% of the crowd at the time were casual fans and they had no idea what's a "bingo hall, indie darling, vanilla mid.. " etc, so he brought awareness to them, it gave Danielson a much needed identity/relatable personality leading to the fans to support Danielson.
Remember it was Edge who started the "You can't wrestle" chant to Cena which lasted years yet he can't take a few seconds of Starks giving him a couple of insults without bugging out! 😂
What Edge didn't start that chant he started the you suck chants
Edge is a lame.
"You can't wrestle" chant was already happening during the Cena/HHH match at WM22
It appears Starks went off script and edge came up in an era where you Don’t insult the older more experienced wrestlers
"bugging" lol
I thought that everyone thought Edge was bug-eyed. It's kinda his thing....the menacing, bug-eyed stare while snarling with like 58 teeth.
To the AEW fans: DO YOU THINK this is CM Punk's fault still?!
Everything is a smoking gun to you, fanboy.
Not punks fault but then again punk isn’t the most patient man.
Yes im sure they do
of course they do
AEW Fans: tried to blame Punk for not drawing ratings, because they didn't watch Collision out of spite, not realizing, they're damning AEW in the process.
Edge went off over being called bug eyed. Has not been called that before? Is he sensitive about the way his eyes look? It all seemed so random lol
Fools getting worked homie, fools getting worked.
@@edwells4769why do y'all always assume everything is a work in aew when time and time again, when anyone goes over there the worst is brought out of them and including how sensitive they get over there?? Ricky Calling Adam "Bug eyed" definitely set him off
Idk why he went off like that. I'm pretty sure he's been called worse, and from Ricky, that was an extremely tame insult.
Wasnt that harsh a comment, ricky came off looking like the pro in that situation if you ask me. Copeland has been reading WWE scripts for so long hes forgotten how to go toe to toe on the mic.
Edge was stammering and then called 6’0” Ricky a vanilla midget with 5’7” Bryan right there. Ricky mentally left this company a while ago so he doesn’t care who he pisses off. I hope he does it again.
@@REVIVALFitnesslol I mean AEW loves letting their young guys go into business for themselves at the detriment of the company. Interesting strategy. We’ll see how it plays out
And nobody billed at 6’0 is 6’0 😂
I'm 5'9
Ricky is maybe taller than me because he has hair
I like Edge but his decision to join AEW after all the CM Punk drama was a bad decision. This followed by Tony's childish tweets just further proved that he is in the wrong place. The AEW fanbase will turn against him soon just bc he's winning a few matches and bc he's old. Tony's booking will ruin him and CM Punk will be at home, proven right that AEW is full of children.
Unfortunately, the guy who was Edge seems to already be displaying the worst tendencies and behaviour of AEW…
It's guaranteed that Bucks, Hangman and Jungle Jackoff definitely dislike everything Edge stands for. Once Jackoff returns and they meet, Edge will come to hate being in AEW.
it's not a bad decision because at the end of the day, he and Christian will retire together.. they came in together, they'll retire together.. not a bad decision at all 💯 and no I'm not an AEW mark
Everyone has that "Oh that won't happen to me" attitude.
it’s a good decision , makes this boring ass wrestling somewhat interesting a little bit
Bret Hart called Lex Luger a "horse face" in a promo in 1993 and it literally had me on the floor after I payed more attention to Luger's face. lol I wonder whether that was scripted.
In 1993? No that wasn't scripted
That was started by Scott Hall after a pull apart in L.A.
@@sstrykert yeah that could have been Hall too
I remember the Vader/Rude feud. Rick kept calling vader fat and out of shape whilst Vader would talk about breaking Rude "spindly flamingo legs".
They were due to wrestle at Slambore. There were a few clips on CZcams.
@@martifrey3357 it was part of Hall's face turn, gauging the reaction to him kr Luger(as the Narcissist), then the 123 Kid loss happened & we're off to the races 👍
I wouldn’t think a superstar who had a very public and well known extramarital affair with a close friend’s fiancé while said close friend/coworker is home injured would be so thin skinned.
All wrestlers are thin skinned homie
Hahaha
No lies told here
Edge has heard far worse than "bug eyes" unless that brought out grade school playground bully memories or something
Edge's wife called him a tall skinny nerd who took a lot of steroids and it didn't hurt as much as Bug Eyes, apparently.
He got shoot angry with Matt Hardy for a promo he did during the affair worked shoot angle. He slept with Matts long term girlfriend but takes the moral high ground 😂
He isn't, there was no heat by either side and Adam was simply giving tit for tat in the moment because it would have looked dumb if he just stood there doing nothing letting Starks get away with it. And before anyone cries "but he looked and sounded so annoyed and angry" there's this mystical thing called acting.
It's really saying something that Edge got his jimmies wrustled quicker in AEW than CM Punk did.
Yeah it took punk 9 months, 3-4 of which were whisper campaigns by meltzer, that shoot by page, the shoot by Bobby fish, and finally losing his shit at that scrum.
All it took was one comment to edge lol
I think it’s cause to a degree Edge has only worked WWE which for all its faults is usually a very tightly run ship. People don’t shoot, people don’t mess with each other on the air.
If two WWE veterans are having problems in AEW, maybe it's not them in particular but the backstage politics going on in AEW.
It's really saying how easily you get worked if you think he "got his jimmies wrustled" over what Starks said and wasn't simply responding in turn to create a believable moment as he would have looked like a stooge if he stood there doing nothing. You all forget that he started with the WWE in 1996 during a time when they didn't try to micromanage everyone the way they do these days, he's no stranger to working with limited or no scripts and wrestlers taking improvised shots at one another. And as micromanaged & scripted as WWE is these days they still give certain wrestlers varying levels of creative freedom, Edge for example is one such wrestler who went on the record in mid-2020 saying he was given a lot of freedom in writing all of his promos himself and was mostly responsible for his storyline with Orton.
Hell there are reports of this particular incident with Starks that there is zero heat with either guy. The reports also state Adam does not get rattled by such promos and is used to writing his own promos since WWE, and that he was simply giving tit for tat in the moment. Guess you guys don't do your due diligence in research, or just ignore things that don't fit your view.
Edge is about to find out fast what punk was talking about
Not really.
Firstly, Edge visibly flipped out over something minor, and made himself look stupid.
Secondly, how can he be surprised? He should’ve known what he was getting into.
@@thankgod4rednecsinnitt290how did Edge make himself look stupid? All he did was confirm what 90% of viewers think: Ricky Starks is a skinny, tiny Rock wannabe. That's what he looks like to anyone who just sees him. Mini Rock.
@CalSaurous Stop it. Ricky Starks had Adam Copeland stuttering like he was Buh Buh Ray Dudley. He was hurting.
@@CalSaurous No, he showed himself to be thin-skinned with a massive ego.
If he’d have just done the smart thing, let it go and had a quiet word in the back, nobody would’ve ever known.
Instead, we have yet more AEW BS backstage drama.
As I said, Edge doesn’t get to complain when he should’ve known full well how this company runs, or rather doesn’t run.
Say what you want when wrestlers go into business for themselves its genuinely disgusting.
Punk controlled himself atleast during the Hangman Promo ( not condoning his media scrum actions)
AEW needs to stop this " lets make it edgy" , " shoot promo" BS All the time.
It leads to lockeroom mistrust and egos running all over the place.
Nothing screams being an alternative to wwe then a long wwe like talking segment featuring Daniel Bryan, Christian, Edge, Big Cass and The Revival.
AEW is out of ideas
😆
And it’s the constant and obscure references to WWE and what happened in WWE, sometimes a long time ago now!
without former wwe talent there wouldnt be an AEW. Majority of its roster that matters is former WWE. aside from MJF and the Elite. AEW cant make stars. When they had the chance with a few they blew it every time. MJF don't count as he made himself and got over on his own. AEW is managed by marks for marks. And it will never grow beyond what it already is without drastic change in the way things are run.
While continuing storylines from wwe and WCW
Ppl just collecting checks from Tony, going along w/ this crap
I love how everyone is taking over each other like a real confrontation but are using pro wrestling style insults. It's a beautiful microcosm of what AEW tries to do, which is make pro wrestling realistic in all the worst ways.
Tony overbooks these segments; has a lot of multi-man matches; and has 17 factions (actual #) because he has too many people on the roster and doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by not giving them TV time.
The fact that you counted the factions 😂😂. Liked your comment just for that
I can see the AEW fans blaming Ricky for this situation, not because he is a problem, but because he praises CM Punk every time (even with the guy out of the company), and this is a problem for the AEW Fans.
He's as good as gone when his deal is up. Cody is gonna look out for his boy.
Yeah The Canadian Clique are going after all of the guys who were rubbed the wrong way with how they treated Punk. Cause if Punk went off on Hangnail like that, and then stiffed him later, everyone would be crying about that.
Two of the security guys in the black shirts were Myron Reed known for his run in MLW and Jake Christ formerly of Combat Zone, Juggalo and Impact Wrestling. The guy in the suit was KM aka Kevin Matthew who made appearances in WWE and worked in Impact Wrestling.
I was just going to say km in the suit I knew Myron Reed and Jake chryst. Isn't Jake the one with the allegations or his brother, Dave
I thought I saw KM, Crist, Myron Reed and one more familiar guy who I forgot. As far as WWE, Tony D, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams Etc were all NXT security before
Was in aew dark and elevation too
I thought it might be Myron but I wasn't 100% sure.
Myron Reed would be a top guy in AEW as a regular.

He should give the roster work out tips
I legit thought that was an Indy wrestler making a few bucks as an extra 😅
Even if I'm wrong, I'm still right.
That security guard uses to wrestle on Impact with Moose posse
Unfortunately the first image we get of this guy is him squatting as if were on a toilet.
Remember the huge security guard with the skull cap during the Attitude Era? Was it Jim Dotson? I rather have that guy watching my back than Doug Dellinger!
Yeah edge is definitely going to be a heel by the beginning of next year and not by choice, people have already started cheering christian's music it will just be the same as the case for saraya
Depends, unless edge does something that will make him like Sting or Steamboat, ultra teflon babyface.
I support that. Heel edge is by far best edge, he just hasn’t been able to be an effective heel because of the conditions of his retirement and return. If edge could have another heel run where the fans actually are against him I’d love to see it

These AEW guys can't get WWE out of their heads
This was all over the place. Like Jim said, too many people coming out to make different points. WWE's talking segments can get a little long at times, but they stay on topic and you can easily follow what's happening.
It's a little worrying that Edge got so worked up over practically nothing. Hopefully he and Starks were professional enough to talk about it after and bury the hatchet. As we've seen before in AEW, small things like this can fester into massive issues if not addressed quickly.
After the bug eye comment, Starks said something about Copeland not bringing his style over from the other company, which sounded like some jab at his wardrobe, which is when he went off. In either case, it didn't sound like anything to get THAT worked up over. Maybe it's the fact that RS brought up WWE, since mentioning the competition in promos wasn't traditionally super common up there. Maybe he's that sensitive about his eyes, I don't know. If it had been an off the cuff remark about Beth or the kids, I'd understand his outrage a little better. This seemed like a heel being a heel.
Edge runs the risk of becoming Chris Jericho. If you reach that level of "please stop", you run the risk of becoming Ric Flair. Please just stop...
