This is an awesome guide, thanks for putting it together. I'm curious about Malphite in the "free" tier; lolalytics shows Malphite with a substantial winrate advantage even in Masters+. Do you think about "free" as "free lane" and getting push, or winning the game?

Only thing I would add here when it comes to items is that iceborn is a good option for a diffrent mythic. You will still dill insane damage, but it makes you really tanky and sticky with the slow and tenacity. If you have a super squishy team or enemies that are really hard to stick to its a good option. dont build it first obviously, go cleaver into iceborn.

Just as a sidenote, The skill matchup category has a lot of champions that outscale aatrox. It is a skill matchup until enemy hits 1-2 items, then aatrox will have a hard time winning in side. These champions include yone (new hullbreaker build), jax (after divine), camille (after divine) and GP due to his guarenteed gold income. This is if the opponent is not completely running it. I don't find riven too hard and I would put it in the skill matchup. This is coming from an emerale 4 aatrox main.

14:45 Actually, if enemy has no dashes or speedups or flash, if you land even 1 q after w hits, it will pull back 99% of the time, even though first q doesnt hit
In the main trading combo, isnt w-q-e better than w-e-q? The q after e looks clunky to me, and q is easier to hit. And, you dont need the range extension from w-e since w is quaranteed after q1 hits (if you have hands and can hit the w ofc)
I misunderstood what you said in my replies, and if you're meaning begin Q windup and use E in the middle, after landing W (W-E-Q) then I definitely agree that is what I think sounds better

Can you please show a melee vs ranged game? i find a hard time playing vs ranged toplaners like Jayce,Quinn,Teemo,Vayne...etc

The reason his w pulls people in if they leave at the last second is because they designed it with an extremely low tick rate.
thoughts on the comet page vs ranged?
Wouldn't recommend it in any ranks below gm/chal due to its skirmishing/scaling being so much weaker and in most elo brackets you can survive or win lane without it

what happend to black cleaver on aatrox ?
Black cleaver takes longer to stack on aatrox after the passive and w changes since those abilities count as magic (now they dont give bc stacks). id just go serylda's instead since it has similar stats, but you're pretty much trading the HP for the slow on abilities though if youre fine with that.
Is it me or Panth is hard matchup for every single guide you’ve made? - Aatrox, Jax, Renek
Pantheon is not only a counter to Renek and Aatrox, he pretty much counters every melee bruiser, but he struggles way more against champs that said bruisers can beat quite easily like ranged toplaners or mages.

the duskblade build is horrible, it leaves you way too vulnerable and squishy which makes it so easy to die once or twice and completely fall off

I think you left out some combos and good to knows, and you laning phase section gameplay was kind of wack, otherwise items needs to be updated, and its important to pinpoint how much of a bully aatrox can be at level 9. Otherwise ok guide, alot of general knowlegde and not so much aatrox specifc.

He is, malph can never kill you unless you're terrible and he's low mobility so you can q him all day
