Probably very early engine mounts. See if there is vibration at the nth revs eg 1000, 2000, 4000. they are a weak point for this engine. Its actually not that bad an engine, a lot of other manufacturers have similar problems. The jaguar recommended 24k mile service doesn’t help.

Me too Jaguar XE 20d 2016, I changed the exhaust dampers too
Still the same for me, the only thing I have seen mentioned is engine mounts.

Was it the timing chain?
I had this it’s the exhaust damper on the rear silencer I did replace but it split again and now don’t have the rubber fitted..
Chain issue take jag at 105k for there service incl gearbox oil change take now better😊
What was the problem? I have the same noise in my jaguar Xe 2015.
Still have the same issue even though I have changed exhaust dampers. Problem isn’t any better or worse though. Good luck
