But there were ancillary businesses that did well from that era like picks and shovels for the miners, sourdough bread (Boudin's Bakery) eaten by miners, Levi Strauss jeans worn by the miners, all of which are still around now after the gold rush is gone. I know AI needs a lot of electricity and the present power grid is unable to support AI along with EVs and green goals. ChatGPT's CEO invested in nuclear power mini plants business that haven't gone anywhere.
The world's geopolitical issues seem to force a parallel of products and tech systems instead of a single widely used model for efficiency. This is really too bad. Now you need two types of hardware and software to get the same task done. It reminds me of old railroad systems that had different track widths that require train change because neighboring countries failed to get along. One of the things I want to do in Malaysia is to visit some of the Chinese and local cellphone stores to see what the newest features are for Android phones. I don't know which form of AI phones each country will use.

CMG is 50 to 1 split, then DD will do 3 for 1 split, NVDA split will trigger its supporter SMCI do next REGN, and LLY are on their way to $1000, which may split soon. Very happy for GE split for 3 units. NVDA needs to split to Bank of NVDA to compete with venture capitalists and no loan and mortgages, just convertible bonds only. Emailed to them, they like the idea "zero risk"

When Microsoft was publicly listed, Bill Gates owned 49% of the company. If Gates had kept that til now, he would have been worth at least 1.5 trillion dollars! He failed to see that Microsoft OS was a natural monopoly at any time. Likewise, one should invest in TSMC after it was selected as the iPhone chip manufacturer in 2014!

Intel has just announced that the compute tile of 15th Gen Lunar Lake is outsourced to TSMC's N3B (3nm) process. This is the first time Intel fails to make its CPU! Hence, the in-house (not outsourcing) 3D-packaging factory in Penang, Malaysia with local Minnanese/Hokkienese engineers plays a more important role than those American CPU factories with American engineers!

不好意思請教一個新手問題，請問對既有持股者而言，在拆股後會有什麼變化嗎？比如我當時購買10股100美元的股票，若以1:10的方式進行拆股後，假定當時收盤的美股價格也是100元，那拆股後我原本持有的10股會變成100股，但是價格一樣是100元是嗎？

分別是股票上下波動會變大，短炒的人會很喜歡，因為單價小了會吸引更多人進場同時吸引對衝公司來把股價抬高炒低，但同時股價低了“以賣期權賺錢”的門檻會變低，因為期權必須以100股為1張單交易
但“賣期權”的理想交易環境應該是波幅緩慢為佳,過大的波幅可能會令賣期權者損失，尤其是使用融資戶口的交易者=即是俗稱炒孖展，新手千萬別碰。
每股1000元的話，1股拆成10股的話，則你手上的每股便成每股100元，但是你手上的1股變成10股，瞭解嗎?
