I had to cut out 10 seconds at 14:51 because a restaurant was playing Ed Sheran as I walked by which gave me a copyright problem. Absolutely ridiculous when I am just walking by.

Love this. We are in the process of selling our UK house (just waiting on solicitors to do their thing) and applying for our visa so we can move over permanently. Great vlog as ever. Take care 😊
Exciting times ahead Emma. Good luck with it. With hindsight I think we would have kept our house in the UK, rented it out and used that to rent a house here. Our house here has hardly increased in value but our UK house is now worth just over double.

Been wondering about you as no videos for a long time so glad you are both OK. It's been a fair few years since I visited Correlejo and I hardly recognised the main street, so many changes. Still, I have fond memories of the old Correlejo and beaches are still outstanding.

Was there last April, came from playa Blanca on Ferry, need to return to see rest of island .
Considering they are close to each other, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are quite different

Just when I thought you were retired then you pop up... nice to see you again, ...Liked the interview video a bit of a different look at you from someone elses viewpoint, Hello again John and Sue, and Jensen.. has the tourism picked up now, It looked overcast and not too warm was it warm ? Any big changes or things gone wrong at your house or is all good now. Seems like a few places on your walk never recovered from the pandemic and appeared closed or is it early season yet.

Retirement? What's that? I work more hours now than I ever did running my business in the UK. I would say tourism is doing pretty well. Some places closed and didn't reopen. Thanks for watching Peter.

Yes it is. Particularly during school holidays when it is ridiculous. I was thinking about going back to the UK for a visit in Augsut but Easyjet wanted over £600 return before even adding a bag.

Was it a two-thirty dental appointment, JP? Seems to have been a lot of pedestrianisation in Corralejo since we were last there. Great to hear from you again!
Well it was after the half an hour in the waiting room - why are doctors always running half an hour behind, even if you have the first appointment? They have pedestrianised quite a few parts which is good but that just makes finding a parking spot even harder. Thanks for watching.
Glad to see you again and that you look well, missed your videos. Do you know why the beach bars by the RIU Olivia beach hotel have gone, we stayed there 3 years ago, also how easy is it to fly to lanzarotte then onto fuerteventura as I have a British Airways e-ticket to use. Regards Tony and Mera
That is a very timely question. The corrupt town hall removed them, and Torinos beach bar in El Cotillo last year "for environmental reasons" they said. In the last week they have put 7 potential beach bar sites up for tender saying that those they removed were illegal (nothing to do with the environment). Torino commented on that town hall Facebook post that he had an 8 year contract signed by the current mayor's father who was mayor at the time. It is all about money and corruption.
Sorry - in answer to your other question, you cannot fly from Lanzarote to Fuerte. You would need to get to Playa Blanca and come across on a ferry. Iberia fly here via Madrid and BA and Iberia are partners so could you use the ticket with them?
The same has happened to the Galera bar on Galera beach its all corrupt l don't think the average tourist knows what goes on!

Great to see you posting another walk through. I hope the dental visit was simple and pain free. JP, you made reference to your other websites. How do I find them?
Just a crown re-cement so no pain Les. The €15,500 estimate for some implants was more painful. I have jpinfuerteventura.com and elcotillo.net but they don't keep me very busy. The others that actually make money are nothing to do with Fuerteventura - pool cleaning, air travel and coffee.
@@JPinFuerteventura Dental implants are certainly not cheap. A friend of mine paid roughly £1500 per implant here in the UK.
What I like about your fuerteventura john compared to the other canary Islands is the vibe and clientele are completely different having just come back from tenerife, A lot less debauchery or non as the case may be 😆.
It is a pretty unique place and very different to the other islands

I spend about 8 hours a day, seven days a week at the computer working on my websites - pretty sad isn't it. The first development in Cotillo is finished now. The other still has a long way to go.

JP would you say that the youth of corralejo/fuerteventura tend to go to the peninsula or major islands like Tenerife or GC? Even tough rent are crazy over there
Not sure Tyler. It would certainly be hard for them to rent - but that's the same in the UK really and probably in most places.
We had a very bad experience in the La Marina, not a good place to eat.
Was that recently, since it reopened or before the madness started?
