I will admit that I do not have a ready solution. However, it is possible to control many rigs using FLRIG, a remarkable and free product. This can be accessed using various vnc programs or remote desktop solutions. I would imagine that Skype or other digital voice protocol could be used to key speech and pass received audio from rigs that have built in sound cards. It may be possible to select the associated sound drivers for transmit and receive. This is my understanding as to how programs like FLDIGI pass audio to and from the rig.

I use a 7300 remotely about 95% of the time and opt for VNC+Mumble+FLRig. Wfview had audio problems for me. Also, it lets you use it from an android phone too, currently using AVNC+Mumla.

The MFJ1234 is GARBAGE! I had one when first introduced. Nightmare to setup, buggy, and the software is all open source available free anyway. Mumble as an audio transport is iffy at best. Sold it for a $100 loss and informed buyer. Solution -Setup up a Rpi with NoMachine (free) and use SignalLink for interface. If you have newer radio with USB built-in you don't need SignalLink. NoMachine handles two-way audio transport that will need to be configured in software. I use NoMachine on all my office machines- rock solid and works.

The strike thru is because I used a dash symbol when typed.
