Part 1 (Interview)
What do candidates have to do? Respond to questions, giving factual or personal information.
How long do candidates have to speak? 2 minutes.
Part 2 (Extended turn)
What do candidates have to do? Describe one colour photograph, talking for about 1 minute.
How long do candidates have to speak? 3 minutes.
Part 3 (Discussion)
What do candidates have to do? Make and respond to suggestions, discuss alternatives and negotiate agreement.
How long do candidates have to speak? 4 minutes.
Part 4 (General conversation)
What do candidates have to do? Discuss likes, dislikes, experiences, opinions, habits, etc.
How long do candidates have to speak? 3 minutes.
Cambridge English speaking tests take place with one or two other candidates, and two examiners. This makes your test more realistic and more reliable.

When Kenza said "that's it" on picture description I felt so bad! You should never stop speaking on your exam until they stop you!
At b1 it doesnt matter. They dont even take into account if you are using american words.

Many ESL teachers were appraised of the eventual changes in 2020 and most of us began teaching the new structure in 2019. Also, if you're studying in December 10 of 2019 for a Cambridge exam, you're prob gonna be taking the exam in 2020.
They changed the format of the B1 exams and new format came into effect in 2020. This is in the new format so that is what the date probably refers to. This is probably an early trial for the new format.

A good way of practice is doing these interviews by yourself while you hear the questions in the video. You could think it's kind of crazy, but it doesn't matter. It's sometimes helpful to become fluency and feel sure of what you Say.

Don't judge anyone ! One thing is to practice alone or with a friend, other thing is speak with the examiner in the day of the exam... So, it's normal wrong somethings. By the way, the best advice is to practice a lot before the exam, be ready for any situation !

How can the interlocutor ask the question " Do you have a favourite sports team " to one candidate then ask the other if he agrees? you cant agree to a personal question , surely the question should be " and whats your favourite sports team"

A better prompt would be “what about you?”, which is the other option for the examiner
He can reply "I don't think I can agree or not on personal opinions" is about speaking, don't need to have a correct answer

this relieves me since they passed it and I think I would be better, but I also understand that part of their "not excellent" performance was because of anxiety, and knowing that I'm a really anxious person too I'll just pray that my anxiety won't affect me at all, atleast for once!

In the third part of the speaking it’s so important to start with a Shall I Start.
Sometimes its proper to keep speaking and add more empty extra words, more for the phonetic impact, and sometimes it's better just answering with the fewest words possible. I don't like the first option, cause I'm not very good at it, but it can prevent cringe situations and can help you to look more prepared with your English. So I think everyone should prepare some repertory phrases just to vomit them in the speech, to impress more the listener.
The teacher relaxes me a lot, I think these kind of videos ar a sort of ASMR

From my understanding the B1 won't necessarily help with any kind of work permit or visa, but it will of course help you find jobs within the UK

Just try to describe what you see. If you don't know a word, just use other words you know to describe it. For example, if you can't think of the word 'elephant' you can say 'the large, grey animal'.
