Absolutely brilliant video Simon! Filming & music choice hand in hand, don’t blame u one bit 4 getting your head down & getting some good “ kipp “ ! Personally I would have left the rods out during the day , there’s always a bonus barbel hanging around & I’ve found they tend to be a big ‘un’ ! Look forward to your next quality video.

Hi Simon. I've fished that peg a few times, it normally produces a good few fish 👍🏻 Just wondering what rod pod that is please? It looks exactly like what I'm after 👍🏻 I think its the Korum Deluxe?

Hi mate, yeah it seems a decent swim to be fair 👌 The pod is a prologic C-Series Long leg convertible. It's very good for the money and can be used as a regular pod or tips up for the river 👌

Try get your bivvy right up to your rods if you can get your rods into your doorway that would help. A glitch at night with your gear the rod pods gone and you are too far away to react.

Using bait runner reels there's no way the rods can go in. I can get to the rods in seconds mate not really a problem but I appreciate your concern 👍

Another really good video Simon , something a bit different , I bet a fair few of the big name Carp anglers wouldn't know how to best tackle a big river . What material do you use for the hooklink please ? I'm seriously thinking about using straight mono for hooklinks , instead of coated and uncoated braids , fluorocarbon , stiff materials , etc. 👍

Cheers mate, any mono will do really as long as its not weedy or snaggy 10lb is fine for most situations 👌
