In this video i head down to a1 pits in nottingham to do some carp fishing on pit 6, the weather was brutal with plenty of carp showing on this massive pit.

Great vid Lee, pit 6 is far from a easy water regarding the fish they like to patrol round the whole lake and keep a circular motion, after the lakes was flooded via the trent it has bugered them up and fish moved lakes and some escaped but others have joined the lake, its hard to say what's in the lakes now days the high 40s for all we know could even be in pit 1 or lost to the trent, great effort and with high pressure the weather was really against you

A good honest vlog. You are right they are pressured, can be hard, but equally when it happens, because it will eventually it will be all the more rewarding for it. The gulls are a nightmare the coots too because of the clear water. Don’t be discouraged. The big pit is a “mans water”, tests many skills including patience. Next time!!

Great video, ive fished the pits multiple times and id be very suprised if theres 800 carp in pit 6, i know its big but 1 fish a week is a bonus. I know people who've spent entire summers on and barely caught anything.

You won't go far wrong with asm mate.. Maxifish is the summer bait to use. Great fishmeal..
