This was in Kaushuing, Taiwan, where yje professor retreated after 1949 when communists took over. Believe the last character of his name was mis-spelt. He then travelled to New York to teach and was one of the first taichi pioneer. The professor suffered tuberculosis, cured by his taichi practice. The flag was Kumingtung flag of blue sky, white sun and red earth symbolizing the bloody battlefield in the revolution against Ching Dynasty in 1911.
For those looking for fights, his students and students' students like William CC Chen and Peter Ralston have placed highly in full contact competitions. Not pushing hands but real punches and kicks before the time of MMA and UFC.

Tks for post Steve! Awesome!
The description says it was taken when Cheng was 60-year old, since he was born in 1904 that would make this movie about 1964.
Great historical footage from Professor Cheng in Taiwan possibly on the 50''s.
Where can I find this piece of history?
Thanks, Steve dragon.
Great. Thank you.
This is a rather old video, other than the one we saw in Chen late stage. This is likely more than 40 years old.
I could swear that is the Malaysian flag I saw. Are you sure this was in Taiwan?
Ok!
That looks like a young Ben Lo pushing hands near the end. Any confirmation on that?
I think I've seen his form with almost no punching.
Maybe it was in Penang
It's the taiwanese flag
If this so good how come it ain't won any fights
