You haven't lived until someone tries to wipe the board of all your Infect creatures and then you kill everyone, in response, with a Clever Concealment because you had a bunch of mites and a Venerated Rotpriest in play 🤘

In one of my recent games, one of my opponents used Heliod’s Intervention to heal another opponent who had an Aetherflux Resevior, then one shot me with the AR. Super cool moment, I love AR.
Did printer ink go up in price again? Rats, I’m definitely going to need to stock up on toner before MH3.
Archdruid’s Charm is my most played green card now - yes, even more than Nature’s Lore. It’s in every single one of my decks that has green, even ones that want a critical mass of permanents or creatures. It’s seriously the most versatile card in the entire game.

Using Zur I have had fun setting up Court of Cunning and Solitary Confinement. It's a decent way to encourage people to run more interaction, it's a fairly consistent deck if nobody interferes with you.

One thing to mention about diabolical intent because it is fantastic ; a lot of black / black and white have a lot to benefit from having something that cheap that gives you a sacrifice as well . I still use an upgrade version of the blood rites precon because it was the first precon I got and being able to sack a card draw a card create a 4-3 flyer and tutor in just one interaction is nutty also other white cards that gain +1s or generate tokens as a result

Off-topic but I was just watching my absolute favorite band's (Dance Gavin Dance) newest music video and you guys just appear out of nowhere?! My mind was blown! First, that MTG was in the video, and then realizing it was you! Did you guys do a video about that experience?
The time to get the enemy fetches was November/Oct 23 when they hit the technical bottom; plenty of people were ringing that bell (arid mesa and marsh flats hit like $10 it was so great). I agree with your Chord of Calling spec @ $3's in retro frame as that is a low risk great card.

I speced on professional face breaker and bought 8 copies of it when it came out (Canadian) now it's like 14ish bucks here, so I finally cashed out 7 of them
Seedborn muse is a card that shouldn't be added to a deck without thinking about it. Especially if you want to keep your powerlevel in check, it can easily overshoot what you are aiming for without even trying. Worst case scenario: your creatures have better vigilance and you can bluff any instant in your colors.

I honestly wish we could have Clever Concealment in Arena.
Teferi’s protection is always a brick and never live when I need it. 1 vs 1 brawl just requires playing way to close to curve in order to avoid getting mowed down by your agro single opponent. So 3 open mana in white means you’re sacrificing 3 turns where you could have had valuable 1 drops like Esper Sentinel and Giver of Runes producing value for you.

Hey fellow nerds… I recently pulled a full art mystic remora and I am currently contemplating putting it in my Ovika enigma Goliath deck. It’s pretty strong and I have been adding lots of bangers lately… but I can’t decide if I like mystic remora. What are your thoughts ?

if you like relic of legends run honor worn shaku its strictly better but you run both in the same decks.

Use nesting grounds to move a lifelink counter to aetherflux. Then just shoot the table down. 😆
Or you could use something like Rise and Shine with a Basilisk Collar or similar and animate it then equip it with equipment that gives lifelink. Whichever is easier.

@@Timmy_MTG Mill gets undeserved hate. It's really hard to win with mill in commander and if you don't get milled out it's like you just didn't draw the cards that were milled; it's actually better than that because you can recur them and it's like having another hand. Mill really is not bad.

This is a very common misconception. If you would humor me and read my following novel. 😂
Let’s think about the cards that mill the most at one time: Glimpse the Unthinkable, Tasha’s Viscous Laughter, and Traumatize (I’m not counting Brainfreeze; I will discuss that card later). Glimpse hits one person for 10 cards. Assuming they do it on turn two, that brings their opponent’s deck from 91 cards to 81 cards. Next turn, they cast Laughter. Let’s assume that exiles an average of nine cards per opponent. Now one opponent has 71 cards in library with at least 10 cards in their graveyard (so still has access to those cards), and two opponents have 81 cards. Then, on turn four, the mill player plays a mana rock and casts Toxic Deluge for four. And finally on turn five, they Traumatize one of the players who they didn’t Glimpse (because you would want to hit the most cards possible) bringing that player down to 40 cards in deck. At this point, the mill player only has one non-land permanent and has spent 10 mana to accomplish… what? Basically nothing. The person who got Traumatized now has 40 cards in their graveyard. If they play an Eternal Witness, they may as well have cast Demonic Tutor on legs. Plus, they were probably ramping while Milly was doing stuff that gained them no inherent advantage. On top of that, Milly has already used their best cards and will be forced to play “mill you two” cards for the rest of the game… which generally don’t actually add to your board-state: no blockers, no defense of any kind.
-Comparing this to your opponents who are trying to reduce life totals to 0, essentially you got one player to 20 life, one player to 28 life and one player to 32 life. And only YOU can deal the rest of the “damage.” This is all going on while your opponents’ damage works together. How the heck are you going to win?

The fallacy: “You’re getting rid of everything I have.” No, you never had them. They are only removing the POSSIBILITY of you getting those cards. Everybody thinks about the time their big win condition got milled, but they seem to forget that 35 percent of their deck is lands plus another 10 ramp cards and therefore forget the times the mill player just hit garbage.

When milling into grabbing things from graveyards: This means they’re actually winning by DAMAGE and not milling. They have no intention of actually milling you out. This is basically casting Bribery with additional steps. Yes, they may be able to grab multiple things, but that takes SETUP that doesn’t impact the board. And if they do this, they are immediately the arch enemy.

Now to Brainfreeze. This is no different than Craterhoof Behemoth or Kiki-Jiki or Thassa’s Oracle. This is a COMBO-kill. This is not “milling.”

Self-mill: THIS I can see an argument for being an unfair strategy. However, it is extremely fragile. Additionally, self-mill decks often have difficulty interacting with their opponents’ game plans. So you’re basically playing Solitaire hoping no one realizes what you’re doing.

IMO, it’s not worth trying to hold the table hostage with reservoir. If you have like 60 life and go to 10 to kill someone, all you’ve accomplished is throwing the game to the other two players. Just take the damage/let reservoir be destroyed and try to win later.

Clever concealment isn't great vs settle. Since it leaves you open vs the op you were attacking. Settle is still a fog there
It's any number of creatures phase so you'd still have the same amount of blockers you didn't attack with but with Concealment you keep your entire board. It does depend on how many creatures you convoke with though.

@@kainestewart5017 Does it though? In your scenario, these creatures are already tapped and attacking and would be unable to block. The only difference between tapped and phased out in this scenario is all your attackers getting exiled vs. you saving them all because you're equally as open on the defensive end. I know which scenario I'd rather see in a game.

@@kainestewart5017 If you waste 4 mana and a card to fog me, I consider that a win. I can get lost life back but I can't get my creatures nor the mana I invested in them back if they're exiled.
