- I bought these so long ago I don't remember if they were sold at K-Mart, CVS, Rite Aid, wherever. But I do recall packs similar being sold at K-Mart many years ago.

My mom was once offered a veteran player’s MTG collection by a family friend (for free), a few years back. She was clearing out the attic and her son didn’t want the cards. My mom told them “No, because I don’t think he’d want someone’s second hand cards.” 😂

Had a storage unit. Didn't realize I left a ton of cards in there. After 12 years, I cleaned it out. Found a Yawgmoth's Will inside. Was wild.

Girlfriend and I were at a yard sale and they were selling a half opened box of Avacyn Restored and it was the only magic item they had mixed with a bunch of board games, we’re only able to find about half of the boosters and ended up settling on buying it for about 30 bucks. It was the first time I ever opened older Magic cards that were from the past couple years or so, was super exciting. Got a griselbrand that my girlfriend uses to this day in her commander demons deck. It’s always fun to find those older boosters.

I found some cards at a yard sale a couple weeks ago. Gave $1 for a shoebox and found a MP Eladamri and like 7 Ashnod’s Altars from Chronicles. It was definitely one of the best finds I’ve ever had

My little brother and i were dumpster diving with my paw paw and found a box with (ive sent bulk in large flat rates before) at least 15000 mtg cards in a Goodwill dumpster. I was about 12, so twenty ago. Of course paw paw was a pastor, this was during the "Harry Potter is the devil" era, and we weren't allowed to get the cards even tho he knew we had Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh and all the harry potter books at home. We did get to eat the dumpster bananas so it was fair i suppose. Woulz have been awesome to sift theough those cards and learn the game tho. And yes dumpster diving pastor
Once i got a mystery cube from walmart... When i saw what was inside i said to my self "never again" ! BUT there was a hour of devastation pack.. i pulled a freaking scarab god masterpiece worth about 430 CAD at the time. Crazy
I’m one of the few people who LOVE crimson vow. One of my favorite creature types is spirits and vow was packed full of them and made them viable again.

My exs grandma bought a whole ton of magic cards at a yard sale for like 5 bucks, and I went through them and they had a bunch of common cards that cost like eight dollars a piece, there were over thirty of them. I don’t remember the cards name but it was black and I think you could play as many copy’s as you wanted in a deck, it might’ve had apocalypse in its name not 100% about that

One of my lgs which I have a membership, giving me 20% off singles, does like a lottery every months and you can win prizes, well 2 weeks ago they called saying I was last months winner and that I won a outlaws of thunder junctions play booster pack, I said ok cool went there last Saturday and to my surprise it was a play booster box that I have won! Good time!

Everyone who knows me knows I collect MTG. So it's funny, every now and then one of my friends will give me a random card they've found somewhere. Usually it's just some worthless junk card but they all have a special place in my collection. And they'll never be worthless to me because it IS the thought that counts.

I will verify this...Me, Joey and Matt met up in Michigan in March 2023 when he was still living in Toronto. Matt brought Veronica as well, ripped some cards, some drinks...it was an amazing time for sure
