Ah, finally! Been waiting for this review for a while now. I've had the EQs for well over a month now and, as I expected, your impressions pretty much jive with mine. Nice to see you go all-out with A-class production for this review as well. The Copenhagen backdrop is a very nice and appropriate match and setting for the Beoplay EQs as they really do have a distinctive Scandinavian vibe to them.
As I mentioned in some of my other comments on your reviews, I'm what many would consider an "audiophile" (although I really don't describe myself as one) since I have super expensive wired over-ears headphones and DACs/amps and wired IEMs so I guess my standards for sound quality are fairly high. I had been on the hunt for the best ANC TWS earbuds (as well as over-ears) for some time now and have happily settled on the Beoplay EQs (and the Beoplay H95 for over-ears).
At one point, I had the Beoplay EQs, the MW08 Sport, Sony WF-1000XM4, and the Sennheiser MTW2 all at once and my plan was to keep the EQs, MW08S and the XM4 and rotate between them but now only the EQs remain as my sole set of earbuds. For me, the sound quality trumps all with the ANC also being important and other features not as quite important. To my ears, the others just didn't compare at all to the overall sound quality of the EQs - not even close. I would go back and forth between all these earbuds and I decided, "Using something else means I'm not enjoying the EQs and why would I want to do that?"
For me, the clincher was getting the large-size Comply Sport Pro 200 ear tips. Until I got these, the stock silicone ear tips and the medium size foam tips left something to be desired in terms of fit, sound quality, and noise isolation. The earbuds are large but I guess my ears (the inner part) are large too so I found the size of the earbuds quite comfortable. They actually fit my ears like a glove and I can actually get them to sit almost flush in my ears and do not stick out much at all. They fit even better than my custom-molded JH Audio Layla IEMs so I guess I'm lucky in that regard. The EQs are the most comfortable and best-fitting earbuds I have ever tried and I've certainly tried many over the ears.
By providing a tight seal in my ears, the large Comply ear tips also improved the overall sound quality with noticeably improved bass response and added body to the midrange while retaining the clarity and detail retrieval as well as the sparkle and shimmer in the highs. Until I put on the Comply ear tips, I thought the EQs sounded a little "scooped" (recessed) in the mids which gave the overall sonic signature a bit of thinness than I would have preferred. The large ear tips completely changed that and I had to go into the app to adjust the EQ settings and I have the puck in between the Bright and Energetic and halfway in towards the center for my ideal custom setting. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to get a good fit in one's ears with the perfect-size earbuds.
Besides the noticeable improvement in the overall sound quality, the large ear tips made the EQs stay firmly in my ears even through strenuous physical activity at the gym - including playing racquetball. The tight seal also provides excellent noise isolation, which coupled with the ANC circutiry provides ample noise reduction for my general needs. It's not quite as good as the Sony's but, with the tight seal, it's almost as good for use at the gym and other noisy environments.
For a while, I was using the Sony for my three-times-per-week 2-hour sessions at the gym but I decided I don't want to compromise on the sound quality and used the EQs for a session. I found that the noise cancellation and fit were more than good enough while having the best sound quality possible so that made the Sony expendable. I gave the XM4s to my second son and he was only too happy to have them replace his aging AirPods. Another reason that the Sony XM4s soured on me was that they just weren't comfortable to my ears for whatever reason after about an hour of use. None of my other earbuds were like this so that just goes to show that you really have no idea of how well various earbuds will fit until you try them out for a good while.
As for the MW08S, I thought they were a keeper and I really do like the way they sound but the ANC was meh and I couldn't get a good tight fit in my ears even with the large Comply tips I ordered. They look good and are low profile but the shape of the casing just didn't conform to my ears as well as the EQs do. As for the sound, it's very nice but, going back and forth between them and the EQs, I found the EQs won by a little (or just a little) in almost every metric - clarity, detail retrieval, soundstage, imaging, instruments separation, depth, etc. When combining these little improvements in all these areas, I found the overall difference to be quite significant - especially in the soundstage. With the MW08S, the soundstage is wide but just doesn't have the height and the depth of the EQs. The EQs just have a bigger and taller sonic presentation with better imaging and placement of the instruments in the sonic spectrum. Well, that's how I heard it and the MW08Ss have now been passed onto my oldest son in college to supplement his AirPods Pro. He says the MW08Ss definitely sound better and he loves the aesthetics so I'm glad.
In regards to the EQs shortcomings, I have the same gripes and I agree that the EQs aren't for everyone. They are not the best all-around ANC TWS earbuds in terms of features. The touch controls are finicky and not having the track skip/back function is a real downer. They are not good for running and/or for dealing with wind noise. For hiking and running that I do four days per week, I stick with the open-back Audeze LCDi4 wired IEMs in my belt fanny pack. I don't need or want ANC for quiet nature excursions. I rarely ever use earbuds for phone calls so the mic/call function has never been important to me. I try to avoid making/receiving phone calls as much as possible anyway.
Anyway, thanks for the excellent review and it's good to know that your impressions are virtually identical to mine - except the fit! Haha. I'm pretty much settled with the EQs on the ANC TWS front along with the H95 for over-ears and, honestly, I don't miss using my audiophile stuff when I'm using them. It's not very often that I feel like I need to have insane amount of sonic resolution that audiophile gear provides and I don't like being tethered to my chair/desk with bulky cables.
I try not to sit stationary for more than 45 minutes so I'll be standing up to take a walk as soon as I post this comment! The freedom of wireless is great - even around the house and office. I go to the next room to do light workouts every few hours, go down to the kitchen to get a drink/snack, and take a little stroll in the backyard and get some fresh air, etc. and wireless means I can continue enjoying music on the move.
think
Thanks for the detailed breakdown of your thoughts and I'm glad you agree with some of my assessments. I'm glad they're working out for you - I hope B&O releases some updates on touch controls so that you can enjoy them even more.
It's good you note that despite having alternatives for audiophile options at home that you find value in the true wireless still. Thanks for dropping in on another video! Always love seeing people come back.
@@UtmostCoin Thanks for the reply and I always find your reviews helpful. I also feel that you hear things as I do so I can trust your opinions when it comes to sound quality as we know how subjective that can be.
Yes, I really hope that B&O releases some firmware updates to expand/fix the touch controls. Lacking the track skip/back function is inexcusable but I can wait. It's really at the gym that I find it quite annoying. In most other situations and environments, using the phone to skip/rewind is fine. One can easily do that from the wake screen.
I honestly believe that wireless has the most room for continued improvements in the future compared to the wired audiophile world. In the audiophile world, people pay many thousands more for minuscule amounts of sonic improvement and, honestly, I think it's pretty silly. I have a few sets of headphone and RCA interconnects cables that go for $2~3K and they do improve the sound somewhat but certainly aren't worth that kind of money. Actually, the whole audiophile world is like that. I can hear the difference but it's just a rabbit hole that audiophile addicts get sucked into. I don't want anything to do with it anymore.
Based on what I've heard from the Beoplay EQ and the H95, I can only imagine how much better things will get in the future when lossless and Hi-Res streaming and BT transmission become a common thing with even further improved and refined DSP/DAC processing within the wireless earbuds and headphones. With every major streaming service now on the lossless and Hi-Res bandwagon, it's just a matter of time. And, when that finally happens, I'll be happy to do away with these bulky audiophile headphones, big boxes, speakers, and cables.
How would you compare these with MTW2?
Way better.... The MTW2 have better controls but I don't recommend those to anyone.. their battery is trash and they have audio lag for videos. Sennheiser is long overdue for version 3
@@pb4170 I also agree that the EQs sound noticeably better. For some reason, the MTW2 didn't fit my ears as well either and I had to constantly adjust them. But the fit will vary from person to person.
Yo dude...great vid...love the feedback. You were up front about the positives and the deal breaker issue...love that . It's also very cool that you were nice enough to meet up with your subscribers
Always try to keep it real to help people spend money the right way with the least regret. Glad that you enjoyed the video!
In terms of the EQs, they pushed an update on controls to make them more convenient and robust so my biggest gripe was actually fixed...just took them a long time.
But yah always down to meet subscribers if we re in the same area (as long as I don't get stabbed😅). Always good to talk thru tech and meet new people
This might just be your best review yet. Of course, I’m not biased at all…
I think your video side of things really took this to another level. Beautiful ambient shots that tied things together nicely - a B&O review made in Copenhagen was a great idea.
Your description of how they sound is genuinely the best I’ve ever heard in a review geared towards a non-audiophile audience. Very good references, and your delivery was somewhat poetic. Beautiful!
I think you’re way ahead of anyone else in this niche, but it’s great to see you try new things and keeping yourself moving. I can’t get enough of those binaural mics. It’s such a clever way of showing their general signature.
I also really liked your take on the Beosonic EQ settings. My initial thought was: “Uhhh, why isn’t this a five band EQ?”
But I think you’re right about how the ease of use is important. For regular users, I also think a five band EQ could be overwhelming. Still, I’d love to have the option, I.e. via an “Advanced” tab or something similar.
In terms of improving your videos, I think some very general subtitles would be really nice for when you’re in a noisy environment, I.e. outside in the rainy and noisy street, recording via the buds. I had trouble making out some parts of what you were saying.
At this point, I’m beating a dead horse, but it really was a pleasure to meet you, geek out and learn from your awesome perspectives.
Thanks for not stabbing me
Lol good thing you liked the video that you are in. Yeah I was thinking about subbing some of the mic stuff but I was running out of time and I was behind schedule due to my slow start back up at work - something I definitely can add in the future. but hey at least you know the mics outdoors are not ideal lol.
Appreciate you hanging out - It was a good time and talk. I mirror the not getting stabbed sentiment lol
Another great video!!!
Thanks for coming back to check it out 🙌
What a great review! I've had these for a few months now and they're my go to ear buds but I find myself going back and forth between the foam tips and the normal ones all the time depending on what I do. LOL
Yap, I'm one of those who values the sound quality over the best battery life or ANC (even though they do a good job here, too imo).
Since their latest update, they've added track control and multi point which basically completes them in my opinion and for my needs.
Keep up the great work!
Thank you for stopping by and giving my channel a look🙌.
Im so happy they FINALLY updated the controls and connectivity.. it makes them a whole lot more compelling now that they've addressed their biggest fall back.. I'm glad you're loving em man.. they were my favorite sounding earbuds last year
Great video man, I’m glad you talked about the fit since I would definitely like to go for runs with my earbuds. Maybe the B&W PI7 will be better. Anyway your quality is top notch and I’m sure this channel will blow up in no time
The foam tips will be good for runs. But they are a bigger fit.. however overall they're more performative with subjectively better sound. They're also on sale right now around 260 just like the pi7s. Another consideration is the bang and Olufsen EX if you want something more run friendly... I still need to review these but they have a bigger driver than the eq
Also thank you for the kind comments. I'm glad you're liking what you're watching. Hopefully see you on future reviews
Thanks for this. That piece of music from Oddfish was the first I had heard that made me hear something more from my E8’s that I wasn’t getting from the Liberty Pro 3’s. Decided to get the EQ’s which are reduced £100 now in the UK. The recent firmware update make these worth the price now. Brilliant review!
Glad you enjoyed the review. That new firmware update makes these much easier to recommend
Very detailed and comprehensive review specifically for Beoplay EQ that I found in CZcams. Thanks so much for this! These past few days, after finding your channel, I’ve been watching your reviews on premium earbuds like Pi7, MW08, Nuratrues and I never found other reviewers in this platform that’s more comprehensive and as passionate in reviewing earbuds as you are. Right now, I’m in between MW08 sport and Beoplay EQ. EQ is superior in sound quality, but what’s holding me from getting a pair is their lack of skip and reverse track buttons and as well as the price, which is more expensive than MW08s.
Between MW08 sport and Beoplay EQ, which pair has the overall package in terms of sound quality, ANC and transparency mode, and microphone quality?
I'd go with the mw08s unless you're 1) willing to wait for firmware updates from B&O and or 2) need the absolute best for your audio and have high Fi sources you use like Amazon music or deezer
Also thank you for the kind words....I try my best to state my feels and give y'all everything you need to make a good decision with your money
Thanks for your response! I'm really excited to have my pair of MW08s soon enough and will be using it with no guilt. All the best to your channel man! 💪
Thanks for this review. I’ve been looking for something detailed like this to get a clearer idea from an audiophiles perspective as to how they perform.
I currently own the Sennheiser’s MW2 and every review of the B&O EQ Plus has stated that they out perform the Sennheisers in the audio quality department.
I just want to know in your opinion if this is true and if so, how much better?
I would say they're significantly better. The EQs have superior codecs with aptx adaptive that can deliver 24bit res and the sound has better clarity and depth than the tw2. Additionally the audio doesn't lag with video like the tw2. The tw2 are long due for an update. Almost every brand has created a new iteration of their flagship true wireless earbuds in 2021 but Sennheiser has not.
Such a nice Video! thank you so much. just bought them for 130€ on Amazon 🥳 blessings from Germany!
Amazing deal.. I'm sure you'll love em as long as you can get a good fit
Great review and I agree with everything you said. I actually swapped my Pi7's with a friend's EQ's. Not sure who got the better deal lol. I was having so many connection dropouts with the Pi7's that I much prefer the EQ's. Hopefully B&O listen to their customers and give us a single tap gesture control in a firmware update sometime soon. If you can get the Under Armor Project Rock over ear heaphones for review I'd be interested to know what you make of them. I recently got to try them out and I was pleasantly surprised at how effective they are for use in the gym, and they boast an impressive 40 hours on a single charge! The hardware is all JBL so sound quality is pretty good.
Glad you liked the vid and had similar thought . I'll check out the product rocks when I start looking at earbuds again in Nov/dec. Lol y'all are giving me a long list to plan for 😝
Worth every penny!
They sound amazing🙌
Nice review! I have a mini collection of beo e6 & e8, senn mtw & ie 80s, harmon kardon, klipsch t5 and just ordered eq two days ago. Hope the eq can complete my collection. 🤭
🔥🔥 collection. What color EQs did you get?
@@UtmostCoin haha i got the sand color the same as the e6. Black seems dull 😑
Yahh black is generally pretty dull. They did release a frost colorway recently but for some reason they come at a price premium ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hello sir . Which soundbar is best for inside use ? Active noise cancellation, transparency? Or neutral?
I'm assuming you mean sound mode here right? Indoors its jus gonna depend on what you're trying to do inside. Neutral is always best for unadulterated sound since transparency and ANC will introduce sound to achieve the intended effect. ANC is best for noisy scenarios like a cafe, and transparency is best if you need to be aware of your surroundings like if you're cooking or watching kids.
How is the sound quality compared to B&O E8 Sports? Do the bass & tones sound very much alike? Any big difference?
Hey friend.. unfortunately I have not tested those so I cannot say how they compare..however the EQs should be better from a sound clarity and soundstage perspective. But until I get the e8s in hand I won't be able to tell you solidly
Hi, do you please have a link to where I can purchase foam tools for these earbuds in the Uk? I would like to use these at the gym and would like them to fit securely without falling out. Thank you
The EQs come with a set of foam tips so those might fit your need. However if you want 3rd party I'll add some affiliate links as well as the comply website for you to choose from below. The Comply 200 series is the recommended 3rd party tip for the EQs.

Comply T-200 (without Wax Guard): amzn.to/3GABVIe

I got mine earlier this week and they sound great listening to music and CZcams videos. However, the volume is too low for calls!!! Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve the call volume issue?
What phone you rocking?
@@UtmostCoin I have the Sony Xperia 5 IV and Xperia 1 III. Both phones have the call volume issue. I also have an iPhone 13 that I haven’t tried yet. Any ideas?
awesome review... I learned so much of the product from your video... also great to have another person inputs in the video 👍. I probably get it because of sound quality. at the moment it is $365 on Amazon.
BTW, what is your thoughts with the byerdynamic xelento in term of sound quality? is it better than Beo eq?
Man I never even heard of those but looking them up they look wild.. I would have to get them in hand to give you a better understanding. But woof that price tag is heavyyyyy I would hope they sound better than the EQs lol
@@UtmostCoin thanks for the feedback... I listened to a sound comparison video on CZcams. the sub-bass was amazing. the price has dropped from $1100 to $600 on Amazon.
Yahh that's still a lot for me. I might be able to look into the new year after I get thru some more reasonably priced requests from the community. It's interesting tho
Latest update added skip track + multipoint also the volume is louder!this is the best earbuds
The new update def addressed the big issues people had with this earbud at launch. I think these will make a lot of people happy if it's in their price range
Hi there. Which would you prefer the eq’s or the mw08? Thank you
Depends on your priorities...the EQs have better sound for sure.. but the MW08SPORT are better for most everything else. The biggest thing holding back the EQs are the playback controls and fit..I have videos of both headphones if you want a deeper breakdown
Thanks bro
Always
Hi!:)How they are in comparison with the NuraTrue ? and Sony's Wf-1000xm4?:) and also the Seenheiser's MTW2?:)
The EQs are the best In terms of sound by a long shot . But if I was to rank them if probably go EQ, Sennheiser mtw2, nuratrues then Sony for sound alone.
However I don't generally recommend the Sennheiser cuz they die quickly and are not great for video and the new songs don't sound great in comparison. For all rounders, I generally recommend the Master & dynamic mw08sport or the NuraTrue.. but the EQs if you can sacrifice active fit and controls for the best sound in a sub 500 dollar tws.
@@UtmostCoin thanks so so much for your kind reply and help:) appreciate it deeply!
I would be very grateful for another advice:) : As i'm classical concert pianist- would you think the nuratrue will suit my needs mainly listening to classical music? are they as good as the nuraphoe?(i have them and truly enjoy them generally). I own also mtw2 and sony's and also the bose quite comfort but i'm thinking of selling the bose and getting instread the nuratrue as the price is more or less similar. I really wish to have the b&o but afraid they cost too much... Of all the mentioned above what you believe will be the best for classical musical listening (thinking strongly about the nuratrue but heard some reviewers saying they have less strong mid range.. is it true?)
It's hard for me to say partially because I probably don't have as a refined ear as you but also because the nuratrues will be different from person to person based on the otoaccousic profile building they do. I have listened to two other friends profiles and they sound vastly different.
I have a review on the Nuraphones, and nuratrues if you wanna check those out samples but the Nuraphones will be better. Generally over ears are better for sound reproduction because they can have bigger drivers that can push more air and the cups can give a better sound stage than earbuds.
If you have the option Id suggest buying the nuratrues and mw08/mw08sport on amazon and return them if they don't work for you. The mw08 seem to have an emphasis on the mids but I've read certain people could find em harsh ( I personally did not)
@@UtmostCoin thanks so much! You are wonderful and I enjoy a lott your channel🙏
That made my day!💚 I'm glad I'm making stuff that jives with you! Thank you for tuning in 🙌
How does this sounds compared to b & w pi7 in your opinion and you prefer which one?
I prefer the EQs. Can achieve the same resolution, but sounds more rich, deep and has better separation than the PI7. Also the app on the EQ lets you modify your sound signature unlike the pi7
@@UtmostCoin thanks mate for the info!. Currently using beoplay e8 sports but not sure is there any significant to upgrade beoplay eq coz never heard the sound signature from pi7
@@nazreenshah8001 watch flossy Carter video with the Eq he rank it as his top 1 true wireless earbuds 2nd is Pi7
got my eq earphones like 2 days ago. At the price i paid £130, they are amazing, just wish they came with the large comply foam tips. Sound quality is like nothing else, way better than my airpods pro and beats fit pro.
Lol def will blow apple and bears away in terms of sound. I agree with you fit would be better with comply... Luckily comply has a ton of tip options
overall preference: MW08S vs Beoplay EQ?
Overall MW08Sport due to better battery, controls, fit (subjective), durability, etc. I'd only pick the EQ if sound is your utmost priority over everything else.
Thank you for a very honest and sincere review and I agree with your findings and the way you put it so eloquently when you call it over sight when you allow NOT NORMAL PEOPLE set up its controls to completely omitting the track controls defeating the entire purpose of WIRELESS great sound crap controls and the latest FW only increased ANC strength and noring else.
I wouldn't exactly hold my breath for them to fix their major Flaw in track controls.
Its like the B&O kick in the guts for their devoted supporters like yours truly.
You would think at this price range B&O wouldn't skimp on crucial controls like track forward and reverse its like going to a high class restaurant sever with fantastic food but you have to bring your own utensils !!!
Lolol great analogy at the end
. Yah it's annoying that they haven't seen this as a priority flaw to fix :/
Great review do they sound loud on an iPhone
Haven't had issue with volume on these
Brilliant thanks
Are these better than the Sennheiser Momentum 2?
From a sound, audio latency, battery and connectivity perspective the EQs are better... Tw2s fit slightly better and have better controls
@@UtmostCoin thanks man! your review is the best I have seen next to Flossy Carters. So Sennheiser sounds better in your opinion? I am worried also that the Sennheiser's stick out too much in ear compared to the BO's
Sorry had to edit it to make the comment more clear...the EQs are better for everything but maybe fit and controls. Both the Sennheisers and and EQs will stick out tbh
Bro B&O officially realese the New B&O BEOPLAY EX with new design + Neodymium, 9.2 mm diameter I heard these sound better than EQ ,I hope you review them
I'll have a look and see when I can get to em 😏
Picked these up for £250 on amazon! B&O retail store is £349 and amazon usually sits at £330 to £349. I would probably prefer the MW08, but will save the £80 for now (MW08 sport = £329).
Nice find! Great deal at that price
I have both EQ and MW08. Both sound great but the EQ nails it with its crystal clear details and rich bass
Absolutely spot on👌
@@UtmostCoin after extended use my conclusions of the EQ are - 1) can't wear them walking outside if there is the slightest breeze 2) phonecalls are good 3) now has multipoint and skip track and rewind 4) i hear electrical noise and interference but that is suppressed by music 5) still makes everything sound great and their optimal eq works 6) noise cancellation is passable but insufficient for the metro/tube/subway 7) they only really sound their absolute best near top of range but that is likely par 8) none of the tips fit my ears 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 9) for my use slightly too low battery life and 10) when adjusting in ear too easy to blow the volume to max.
How is the sound quality compared to MW08?
It's better.. more accurate and neutral... Wonderful clarity and separation of instruments.... Mw08s is still fantastic and my go to recommendation for an all around earbud but for sound alone.. the EQs are the best to my ears
@@UtmostCoin Nailed it. I have both but for sound alone, the EQ’s are top of the food chain 🔥
on sale in denmark for 174 USD right now
Amazing price!
Should I upgrade from the B&O E8 3 gen? please respond Thank you
If you're upgrading, I'd probably recommend the ex tbh. It's a better product all around. You will have less issues with the ex and still retain the amaizing sound.
@@UtmostCoin Sorry but I don't like stem design earbuds.
@@UtmostCoin but thanks for help anyway
That's fair...the EQs are on sale often so definitely a worthy upgrade.. just gotta make sure controls and fit work with your needs
@@UtmostCoin Ok Wil I notice any difference?
love mine
That new firmware will probably make you love it more
Do you have a comparison with MW08 sport???
Not directly... I have separate videos on the eq and the MW08SPORT. But the summary is that the sound quality and EQ is better with the EQs. The controls, battery and mics are better on the MW08SPORT. Fit and anc are on par with each other, tends to depend on your ears. MW08SPORT will be better for your all rounder. The EQ is best if sound quality is important over all else.
@@UtmostCoin many thanks for that summary. I saw B&O offering 30 day trial so it may be interesting to use. My dilemma is working out how important ANC is to me......but I think that with custom moulded silicone ear sleeves they should all do well enough.
Isolation is commendable on both.. if working out I tend to use the foam tips included or a comply third party set for better security on both the b&o and m&d. Sound quality is also generally better with foam to me..
two days ago an update rolls out with gesture control
Amazing! Do you know what they added?
@@UtmostCoin yes but you can look by yourself :) czcams.com/video/1w_8jSy-aNM/video.html&ab_channel=Bang%26OlufsenManchester
I mean I watched your duolink review and personally I love them. But if you think their overpriced than more power to you but to me if its loud enough to damage your ears than its more than loud enough and noticed not much of a difference between the airpods pros or the earbuds inside the duolink but hey good review.
I dont think i mentioned volume in regards to the earbuds mode. The earbuds my biggest issue were controls reliability and ghost taps. The volume comment was more in relation to the speaker mode as it was super quiet and the little Muzen button out punched it significantly.
@@UtmostCoin nah I meant the speakers in terms of volume the earbuds get more than loud enough and the speaker itself to me sounds like 5 to 10 times better than anything my phone can do
Maybe our units are different...but everyone of my bluetooth speakers, laptop and tablets out punch it both in volume and quality. Mine doesn't get anywhere near to damaging your ears. I can only speak to what I got
@@UtmostCoin I mean maybe they improved it I bought like 2 to 3 months and I'm a very satisfied customer. But at the end of the day everyone has a different opinion so it's whatever
Does it support deep Bess?
not exactly sure what you mean by that. It renders full, detailed and punchy bass. It won't wub your face off tho like the Nuratrues or Nuraloops.
These or the sennheiser MTW3
Mtw3 for overall package and value... EQs sound better though
@@UtmostCointhe mtw3 are £179 and the Eq are £120 should i still go for the sennheisers
ahh i was referring to retails... the MTW3 are newer and will surpass the EQs in most everything except sound. MTW3 still sound great , but B&O is hard to beat for true wireless sound quality and clarity... still I would recommend the MTW3
B&O stands for Danish quality.
😉
Thanks for checking out the vid!
They're just 179 now...
Great sound at that price! They've pushed firmware updates to add more controls. Just gotta make sure they fit your ears and activity level.
@@UtmostCoin Just ordered them. I'm going to use them primarily for running and cross-fit.
I would strongly suggest using the foam tips if youre doing high work rate stuff and building a sweat.. but maybe they'll fit your ears better for activity than it did for me and you can get away with the silicone tips
Thanks for the advice i will test that
Sheesh $400 😳.
This is the price of a Poco F3 paired with Edifier Neo Buds Pro or Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro 😅🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♂️.
It's def a lotta bills haha
@@UtmostCoin Really way too much money, especially since the advantage of TWS over wired headphones is convenience and I think very few people really pay attention to the details of the music when they are in motion, really paid attention to the details of the music when seated and for that any wired earphones up to $100 is much better than any TWS at $400 - $500.
Lol look at the ultimate ears fostex combo... It's like dummy expensive
You can get them new $250 and maybe a bit cheaper on ebay nearly all the time.
1- B&O has the worst customer service ever so far, I would not be recommended to anyone I knew.
2- EQ model is overpriced a lot, especially with the war going on in Europe now, such luxury is not a priority for consumers now, its a bad economy now, this will make the EQ stock dust on the seller's shelves for a long time till it sells for $100 one day.
3- Sound quality, I have: Bose, KEF, Sennheiser, B&W, Technics, Sony, Marshall (the flagships from each brand) and they were better in sound quality than the B&O EQ, unless the EQ model is a $50 earbuds then no problem.
Due to these 3 points above, I think B&O needs a new CEO, to know how to run the company and re-structuring the customer care department from scratch, hire new blood engineers to build better earbud sound quality, and hire a new marketing VP to study the market before pricing such model for $400-$419!!
Don't use these for the gym lol lol
Lol def not ideal for that use case - but I gotta run them thru their paces so people know. If you absolutely need to you can but not the strong suit here
What are the reasons why not to use at the gym? Wouldbe good to know before purchasing
@@hamzasajed1136 They can work for the gym, but if you're running or jumping/explosive movements, they might fall out. But anything not as intense as those they should stay in fine. They are thicker earbuds than most .
I bought it today for 169 euros 🫶 Is it still worth it?
For sure… especially at that price point. These will sound great and they pushed some nice firmware updates to give more stability and robust controls. As long as they fit you for your activity level you’ll love ‘em and they will blow the sound off of other headphones around 170 bucks
@@UtmostCoin I've been using sennheiser momentum 2 tws's for 2 years almost. New pairs of them costs on amazon for 295 bucks! It's crazy I think. It's been so satisfying to use that brilliant earbuds. In that time I thought that it's time to change. I've been always an Bang and Olufsen fan, if these earbuds fits as well as sennheisers and anc performance is little better than this I would keep it and sell my sennheiser's on ebay for sure.
