Love this guy - met him once backstage after (somehow) getting backstage passes when he played with Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band on his '96 tour. Great Guy, very cool, humble, and, he's from Massachusetts! -- Also saw him in '07 the day before my B'day when he played with John Fogerty (whom he Still plays LIVE with) at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
The vibe is Incredible I’ve been there quite a few times buying equipment. It’s never a dull moment, and I drive three hours to get to SWEETWATER I’m from Northwest Indiana

Im new to learning about Kenny, came across this looking for a set of drums to really get into at 50... Big fan of Sweetwater and Mitch in particular for handfulmof years now! ! This is an amazing interview, and vibe... not just for music and drumming, but for life lessons too! Can't wait to learn more about Kenny and his book eventually! Both such cool dudes! Rock on!

I don't think Kenny was 17 in 1980. That would make him only 52.
+Jo J I thought the same thing when I first heard him say that. I listened to it again (21:16) and he said "I was 17 years with him from 1980 to 1996"
