- Overwatch is one of those games where there are so many moving parts in a team fight that some of the critical plays can sometimes go unnoticed.
Despite being a flashy explosion or populating the kill feed, here are some clutch plays from the Overwatch League that we believe deserve some time in the limelight.

The fact that Uber could figure out how Doha died to that bomb and state it on cast so quickly right as it happened shows how goated he is as a caster. not even a stutter.
Better than the one in Havana where they didn't even understand how Rascal helped

@@nickniehaus1763 yeah, they keep fighting to get their comment out before the other. I think its because vikkikitty likes talking with more elongated sentences that she wants to complete vs uber or bren that can stop on a dime and let the color commentary contribute

Man the sheer DENSITY of that Echo's decision making and actions taken in a split second is astonishing. He switched from a strategy to another one in the time it took me to understand that their Ana was dead and he was a healer. They really are beyond me sometimes.

Rascal's wall is the epitome of this series: casters don't realise it in the heat of the action, but the play is actually 1000 IQ.
agree with that good wall. also noticed GA9A also had shield upp before wall and distance was to far for shatter to hit from behind wall. so the shatter would not hit even if wall did not pop up.
VikkiKitty is good looking but her casting is horrible, she gets the name of players wrong, routinely will blabber nonstop over her partner and can't really relay what is happening in the game. Hopefully she will get swapped.

that ana play was very impressive, especially for a DPS player. It really shows how good these pros are
i mean when echo is meta, the players that play her basically have to be good with everyone for the duplicates

@@short-eu7bs On top of that, Leave has played almost every actual hero (not as an Echo copy) at pro level whether it be in OWL, pre-OWL or World Cup.
Leave is probably in top 5 best rounded players
The way that Piggy's D.VA bomb fitted right into the crevice felt really satisfying

That rascal clip is the epitome of doing everything on dps and still being blamed.
Tbf, the reason Akshon gave for it not being a misplay was bad. If the shatter had landed, Mano would've almost stopped taking damage. However, Gaga had his shield up and would've blocked it, so Rascal accidentally did the right thing.
@@sorin_markov maybe but in the cast time he wouldve died probably due to all the spam especially the dva thru a amp matrix
@@btugvd The wall went up literally as the hammer hit the ground. There was no more cast time.
@@sorin_markov one shot from the mei brings him down to 20 and gets killed by one shot from literally anything else

The Moth play was sickk, had never even considered that rez resets when you swap heroes
They used to do that with Bap's immortality field until Blizzard fixed the exploit. I'm guessing they'll fix Mercy's exploit too after this one.
@@RicardoEsteves I hope they don't, it's a pretty cool use and tbh it's so niche that I doubt it'll be very applicable in any other scenario other than defense Hanamura B

@@RicardoEsteves I don't think its as necessary. Bap can throw the field almost from spawn and reset super quick, while mercy has to physically go back and forth in order to rez. Its riskier and a bit more fair.

That Echo Ana play was so good. The amount of work he did with the utilities and healing his team with a split second decision making was nutty
2:20 without the ice wall, the shatter would have already been lost to the enemy Rein shield. So the original Rein would have died due to not having a shield while casting shatter. The ice wall really was helpful and fortunate
That play by the Eternal was awesome, great representation of the adage that 2cp is the worst game mode to play, but the best to watch.
Paris are soooo fun to watch.

Bogur posted a clip on Twitter where jjanggu denies the fuel ult charge by swapping off ball to winston then back to ball so the fuel don’t get ult charge off his mines
I didn't think you got ult charge from mines. But if you do that's pretty big brain

OW microplays is definitely my favorite series that you guys do, and everything you do is fantastic.
That Rascal play was great, something you don’t see in lower Elo’s which you can tell by the casters.

Yeah you can see that the other rein had his shield up so the shatter would have been blocked anyway
I only watch this channel because it clearly shows and explains why something was unique or impressive...very slowly...and then plays everything in real time. Making my baby brain feel accomplished because I ‘get it’. Honestly I try watching this games streams or whatever but all I see are pretty lights and people randomly die. Anyway, thanks for the content~

Same thing I was wondering. But they watch games for hours and hours all day I don't blame them for missing it I would probably do the same
they do, but they don’t mention because its an exploit and they don’t want audiences to notice it.

that paris play (cos it was a team play) was amazing to watch live, absolutely unheard of, clearly not something you can pull out often once everyone saw that trick once
but nonetheless when even the enemy team congratulate you in the chat afterwards it shows how much that play was unique and will stay in the hall of fame of the league

Fleta on Echo against Dallas was also impressive, he used his ult multiple times to dodge EMP

One thing that really stuck out to me, especially during the finals, is Fleta saving duplicate for almost every single one of Dallas’ emps. He cancelled almost every single one by duplicating at the exact moment of the EMP

Upon seeing an echo on anubis in the thumbnail and seeing the phrase ana duplicate in the title the only thing i could think of in the matches i actually watched was that one eastern region game where they got over confident and started trolling on point A, only to lose it and have to hold point B.
I think it was chungdu vs valiant but i dont really remember

Rapel's lamp is on CD (destroyed at 6:33) and Fearless ran forward. Bombing bottom of ramp would have been a lot better, since it would deny most amp matrix value, let Outlaws walk forward, and likely would have isolated at least one Fuel player.

There was a cool play with void and the Dallas dva player. On kings row final match Shanghai vs Dallas. May make btw I think Dallas’s fuel player meles void as he if falling off the map to reset with his team. That mele gave him kill credit and he got his bomb right away. I think that is what happened.
This is so fin to watch. For the next you could do when Wya falls down on volskaya against Chengdu in weekend one and lose the map.

The self destruct “missplay” looks super intentional. It seems like Piggy put the bomb there to mess up the fuels sudden advancement, since he ulted when they were moving up the tunnel.
I like how moth kept exploiting that move and still lost

Best play was the Ana duplicate. Losing you own Ana 1 second later was perfect. Def an unintended save that made a massive impact
the thing moth did ive done with bap before, just throwing immortality fields on the point over and over again, it won us the game and i felt really good
Immortality field CD no longer resets on hero swap. It was patched on May 19, 2020.
