Awwweee thanks Downtown, Financial Peace University (FPU) helped our marriage a lot. I tell people that prior to FPU we had His goals and My goals, Now we have OUR goals. Taking the class and Praying and fasting together definitely brought us one one accord financially and in other areas in our marriage as well.

I told a couple of my co workers and my manager that I was doing the Dave Ramsey program of getting out of debt and then my manager started to put me off of work. Well now she's been put out and I'm keeping my plan to myself...I'll be able to say I'm debt free in a few years

Derr We had PLENTY of dream dates where we would envision where we want to be in 5 even 10 years from now. We have even done a mock budget for the next couple of years to see how fast we can buy a house cash....lol....

Yipppeee!!! Thatâs freedom! Since day 1 of my 7 year marriage m, my husband and I agreed that we will never spend the money that we never have. Everything we owned is paid in cash. We have credit cards but everything is paid at the end of each month.
Wow Happy Camper, That is a good thing to agree upon. We have now agreed to pay CASH for everything, We will never be voluntary slaves again! Cash is King/Debt is Dumb :-)

I though was only in Louisiana in debt, wow they do have people who in the same vote like. But the different in my case, I have my mortgage to go. That was a lot deep debt this family did. But I have less debt than them. But if they can do it, I can do it as well.
