Hello Mate, Van I ask a couple of very simple questions? I have just bought a 1999 ZZR600 that needs a bit doing to it, I want to take the tank off, am I right in thinking that as long as I leave the fuel tap closed I won't have petrol pouring out, other than then the open end of the fuel line which I will plug? Your bike looks great by the way.
Hi.. yes providing the tap is in the 'off' position you should be good to go. There will still be a bit of a dribble but it's only what's in the pipe. Just make sure you have a cloth to hand....
