Ah, so many good memories I've shared with my Nintendo Wii. From the time online was flourishing, to the day it died. I remember the time when my Wii stopped reading discs, and I had to wait over a year to get it fixed due to financial struggles. And after all these years my boy is still going strong, despite that I seldom play it. Wii Sports Resort was by far one of my most favorite games to play with friends.

This video brought me to tears man. I grew up with the Wii and I have so many memories of just playing with my friends at their houses or playing at home with my brother. The Wii truly was a legendary system.
I remember when my friend have one of this and he invited me to play, in that time I was blown away of how futuristic and amazing Wii was

I remember that game.
It got me excited and prepared for when the real games in London would take place.
This was my first console when i was 8,at that time i did not have enough knowledge about how consoles work so i gave my friend the cd that comes with it.I still have it but replaced with a ps5.
Aw man. This brings me back from battling my sister in Mario kart wii, to finding all the shortcuts on my own and getting first place on every cup. I sold my wii last year to save some money for the PS4. I now have the PS4 and got around 12 games
Fun Fact: The M&SL2012 Wii Pack came with a Wii Remote Plus because the game requires a Wii Motion Plus accessory.

There were amazing 3rd party games on Wii, we had Sonic Colors, Madworld, No More Heroes 1-2, Project Zero 2, the best version of RE4, Red Steel 2, Zack and Wiki, Conduit 1-2, Monster Hunter Tri, Muramasa Rebirth, Lost in Shadow, Goldeneye Remake, Calling, A Boy and His Blob, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Klonoa remake, Fragile Dreams, Deadly Creatures, Okami and so many more great 3rd party games and hidden gems.
Not to mention a ton of amazing on-rail shooters like House of the Dead 2, 3 and Overkill, Resident Evil Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles, Dead Space Extraction, Ghost Squad etc

11:36 the sound of this ejecting and taking a disc in the drive made me cry. The Wii was my sons very first tv console, his first handheld was a DS Lite. And the one thing I remember the most from him playing the Wii was the sound of the disc ejecting and inserting into the drive, that sound is so damn nostalgic!

But then it stopped working as it got submerged in water during a flood.
Had many awesome memories with this console my childhood console and this game as well wish I would go back I still have my wii and I play it to this day

First console I owned when I was 8 years old, still have mine today! I bought another 2006 OG model to play Gamecube games with, and I fould some old WiiWare available for redownload on the Wii Shop Channel! I got the receipts too, back from 2010. Times change.
It’s a shame with this model you have they removed the GameCube backwards compatibility. I have this very console and if you unscrew the plate where the flaps would be for the GameCube ports, you can still see the molded in holes for the GameCube controller plugs and memory cards.
