So these are the folks that you said Bio-Mage would be mechanically similar to. Well aside from using Fleshwarped, of which Bio-Mage and the Glatorians look positively restrained compared to the examples, as the basis for biotechnology I don't quite see much commonality particularly in personality. Light fairies tend to be pretty good on the morality scale.
Yuuuup. If you aren't a fan of using the Ancestry, I don't blame you, I would just use the background: Tech-Reliant or Saved by Clockwork. You could probably get away with the Aphorite Versatile Heritage, due to the relationship with the Plane of Axis(?).
@@Drahjan_BeginDownload sorry for my response taking so long. Aphorite Versatile Heritage with tech-reliant actually works incredibly well especially if this iteration of Bio-Mage was made with the same technology that usually creates Fleshwarps. That would give meaning to how Bio-Mage is the product of the latest and greatest of biotechnology. A mysterious priest grown from the ground up using Aphorite genetic material and not having it become a crime against nature, well the one who utilized those systems anyway. Actually isn't the Aphorite Versatile Heritage part of Pathfinder's hybrid system? Putting the Aphorite Versatile Heritage on top of Fleshwarp practically does get you Bio-Mage.
@@andresmarrero8666 I talked a little bit about the Aphorite in my video covering the Versatile Heritages. Technically, yes. They were created by Axiomites. A way to help establish/enforce law within a given Ancestry.
@@Drahjan_BeginDownload yeah Heritages do get added to ancestries. That combination also fits, in the visual and some personality departments, of how I discribed the lifewoven even though that is a completely different setting. I have little doubt that such a powerful intelligence such as the Godmind would be able to hack a fleshforge or influence the process through the Aphorite genetic material. I say the reason Bio-Mage isn't a created fleshwarp is because aphorite genetic material was used. Now whether or not Spirit Ryu was directly involved in influencing the process or simply altered the course of her fate forming a close relation will be fun to figure out while playing. If the Godmind is intelligence then Spirit Ryu would be wisdom.
@@andresmarrero8666 If we're going the Spirit Ryu route, I would probably recommend picking up the Summoner Dedication Feat. This will allow you to summon a Dragon Eidolon as a companion.
