1968- John Denver - Philadelphia Folk Festival

In this archival audio we hear John's set of six solo songs, accompanied by Paul Prestopino, at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. The photos used are purported to be at the same event. The date stamp on one photo is when the camera film was developed a few weeks later. This event took place August 23-25, 1968.

Love his style, his songs, and even his moves.
He was a great entertainer.

It is such a mystery, as we listen to John's voice and remember him when he was living. Can it be he is not somewhere now entertaining a crowd. It saddens me remembering his passing from this Earth. I hope your out there somewhere John, while you are still here, forever in our heart.
