Power Ranger is based on Super Sentai a series that have been running since 1975 and still on going today
(a good example is the original power ranger being based on Zyuranger using their suit and footage)
Kamen Rider is made by the same creator as Super Sentai but it was created since 1971 and ofc it is also still on going

The one that connected to N*zis was around 1971. Since the heisei era one to the one still airing (reiwa one) Kamen rider didn't related to each other except kuuga, agito and the anniversary and the spin off. Even tho some of the spin off and anniversary feels like forced to connected to each other. So it's kinda hard for me to differentiate between the canon or not.
If you wanna started watching the series. I recommend kamen rider geats. Because it's the one that got most my friends hooked up on this.
I will try to explain the opening a bit without spoilering
The one that you reacted to was:
01:40 Kuuga 2000 (The first one on the heisei era. The motive based on kuwagata or stag beetle)
02:50 Agito 2001 ( Kinda connected to the first one and the motive based on European dragon)
04:16 Ryuki 2002 (The singer was the Japanese VA for Ash ketchum / satoshi. Basically he can travel through the mirror and go inside mirror world)
05:30 Fais / 555 / φ's 2003 (Based on tech and supposedly based on shark. Even though i can't see the shark motive. The morpher / changer / driver / belt was based on old flip phone)
06:30 Blade 2004 (based on Yu-gi-oh liked trading card, Hercules beetle, ace, spade, poker cards)
07:40 Hibiki 2005 (based on oni and music. I didn't remember much from this)
08:25 Kabuto 2004 (based on rhinoceros beetle. Has two phase form. Can run faster than light and time travel also alternate time. Fought worms, some kind of alien that can imitate human looks, mind, personalities and memories)

Kamen Rider and Super Sentai Or what I found you called a power ranger. There are no similarities. Crossover between Kamen Rider and Super Sentai join forces. You must try it.

the first super sentai and kamen rider shows were made by the same guy, but rider is about 5 years older i think? Rider took a break in the 90s i think, coming back in 2000 with Kuuga, the first opening in this video, and has been airing consistently since then.
Super sentai was adapted into Power rangers in the US by Saban, as was one of the earlier rider series called Black RX as "Saban's masked rider". We don't talk about saban's masked rider. it's that bad. Ryuki had a much better adaptation in the late 2000s as "Kamen Rider Dragon knight", but it didn't catch on. A few rider shows are avaliable to watch free with english subs on tokushoutsu, like Geats, kuuga, ryuki and zero-one, alongside several super sentai shows like Zyuranger, (the show the first season of Power Rangers used suits and footage from.) There's also fansubs for the rest of the rider and sentai shows if you know where to look. Toei has the first 1/2 episodes of most rider shows avaliable subbed on their youtube channel as well.
if you interest in tokusatsu genre there are many popular shows but most watch is kanen rider, super sentai(power ranger original), Ultraman
most reactor react opening intro, ending song, henshin aka tranformation video, super sentai mecha tranformation(megazord) and etc.

Yeah anything you know about Power Rnagers is completely different from Kamen Rider. If you want to learn more about Kamen Rider i recommend the History of Kamen Rider.

Yeah this compilation is only the Heisei Era ops, and even then it’s inconsistent to the name

12:11 Decade is the 19th entry to the franchise, and is the 10th anniversary Rider for the Heisei Era, as its 10th entry.
