I like how no matter how small their appearance is, the victims are still made likable and with actual personalities. It really makes you feel dread when they’re killed which is really not common for stories sorrounding serial killers.

Went from King of the Hill meets Arthur to furry Stephen King rilquik, with an undercurrent of "spiritual journey" DIY self-help book mania. Also, I love the commitment to having an anthropomorph run into their quadruped familiar. Like, does a cow person in this world eat beef? Inquiring mind, and all.

There’s a cover/splashpage with the pig character looking into a butchers shop with some pig heads and chops on display.
I was so scared, at first, the the "extra holes" in the Turtle's parade float were actually Breathing Holes so the driver or whomever might be inside doesn't suffocate. Then I was worried that it might be a story of getting rid of those that "harm" society (enforced by the government or something).
I remember finding this particular book at my local Target in the children's section. Just from the cover alone, I knew it was going to be dark.
I just wasn't expecting it to be THIS dark.

This gave me chills, because my town also turned 200 not too long ago. I don't think there was a parade though, just some (I'm assuming historical) tours and promoting the local businesses. But that fact still grounds me to this story.
Samantha Strong is certainly smarter then the average Bear.

I'm strangely fond of the way Sam's voiced. It sounds smooth and kind in a way that contrasts nicely with her more apathetic/clinical thoughts and actions.
I don’t know why, but something about this comic give me nostalgia, and I actually kind of like it. I am confused of why I’ve been without you watching this, but it’s fine.

I thought the ship sail was gonna block the sight of the driver then cause him to panic, then I thought somehow the turtle got nerfed by the sail. That was a genuine surprise!

I met the author in Boston this year super cool dud, bought the boxset read all of it an afternoon, loved it can't wait for the sequel.
The art is really good and kinda nostalgic which only makes the killing more disturbing

At first I was thinking "where does the butcher get that meat"? I thought this was a beastars thing where she's a predator and has urges, and maybe she still does, but it seems like she just buried the meat and didn't eat any.
I mean, she doesn't really need to have any "urges" for meat, when there are normal quadruped animals around.
I think her character represents a bear I forgot what symptoms does a bear have but it was mentioned at in a violent nature in the final scene where bears kill people with no intention of eating it so they just kill people with no reason
They f**king killed poor old Martin!
