You're almost right! We aren't actually a Corp (Clan/Guild), but a public fleet - made up of viewers from my stream. PL (Pandemic Legion) is the Alliance we were fighting here and we did pretty damn well considering the high end capital ships that were fighting us. I'm not sure if you know, but Eve has recently gone semi free to play, and if you enjoyed the video, maybe you'll enjoy trying out Eve too. It's true though, Eve's highly confusing to get into, but once you "get it", you're hooked for life xD Thanks for your feedback. Viper is correct, PL is a group of "guilds/clans" in EVE. They are called Alliances. In EVE, there are 4 regions of space, High security, low security, Null security and wormhole space. High sec is generally PVE orientated(although not entirely non-pvp) and you cant change control over a system I believe. In nullsec corporations/alliances battle or war with each other for control of different regions of space. This was a PVP skirmish between PL and another corp. I'm not sure if it was over territory or not. Could have just been a random battle. Still though, looks fun as heck.

I find the free to play move a bit strange. When i played in 2011, the general sentiment was "never free-to-play". Nobody wanted it and we were thinking it would kill EVE. Seem thing are changing.
Tadlada pate it's like playing eve lite, you can access almost all parts of the game and be competitive to a degree, you just don't get the super shining things
yeah i login with my high skilled account and you get only the skills trial one's unlock, everything else is lock and unable to use i was sitting in my legion that i didn't have skills for unless you get a plex clone or membership.

Hey Larry Hale o7 I'm not actually a Goon, just some guy called Bee. This is also not a corp/alliance, but a random assortment of players from all over New Eden flying in a public NPSI fleet. I'm glad you enjoyed the fight :D Eve just went semi free to play today with the deployment of Ascension so if you're not ready to PLEX yourself back into the game, you could start an Alpha Clone (fly T1 stuff up to cruisers) and join us on these roams!
You "anchor" on your FC - meaning you keep him at range so the entire fleet stays in one group. That way, the FC can just fly his ship and everyone will be together.
This is a public fleet (viewers from the stream) roaming around and we went to check out the staging system of one of the strongest entities in Eve. They gave us a warm welcome with some of the end-game ships in Eve. Titans, Super Carriers etc. It was absolute overkill, yet fun as fuck to fight against/try and snag some kills whilst staying mobile.

In PL recently, we had a fleet of 10 DPS ships come, and we brought down nearly 40 ships on them, and only lost a Hurricane because it warped early.

If any other alliance than goons or PL do this - then goons or PL will just wipe out their supers and titans - which is why no-one else does this.
