I am so delighted that you got this deck which you love so much (I have the 2nd edition). I also love old and new architecture but sadly, for me, the images in this deck are kind of muddy and the titles hard to read (might be my older eyes!) so I keep it as a collector's item. Faceted Garden Oracle is lovely with it. Might seem odd, but how about the Earthly Souls & Spirits Moon Oracle with Tyldwick?
Ah yes, I can see why you would love it too... You need to come to my part of the world again! I am not sure about witchy decks... that would feel too, modern with this deck with the pinks and pastels. I prefer muted tones here. There's more decks I will be getting soon that may go well with it too. I can understand regarding the muddiness of images and titles. That is one of the reasons I like it but it can make the deck tricky to read with. Thank you for watching!

The Tyldwick was one of the first decks that I wanted, but needless to say I could not have it until this new edition came out with its more affordable price. It was very helpful for me to see your pairings since I am very new to tarot and don't have many decks. Were you disappointed with the guidebook? It is printed in a fancy way which is not suitable for such tiny print. If the publisher wanted such an elaborate design, a bigger format should have been used.
Congrats on getting the Tyldwick too and indeed, I could not have paid Out Of Print deck prices, so I am glad this was reprinted. Glad the pairings were helpful too. I have just had a peak at the guidebook and the print is tiny indeed, but I was not holding high expectations. I am glad I got to understand how the deck came into being and its past especially as the creator has sadly passed away. Enjoy the deck and thank you for watching! 🦉
I just received this edition of the Tyldwick a few days ago. Like you, I never thought I'd own a copy, and am thrilled to have one. I'm a tiny bit disappointed in the colouration (it seems a bit muddier than the previous version, and some titles are hard to read). Other minor criticisms - I was hoping for the gorgeous rose gold edging that was on the previous 2nd edition, but this one is just regular gold. My deck was a bit bowed, so I'm pressing it between some heavy books in the hopes of repairing that. Apart from those minor quibbles, I'm so happy to have such a special deck, as I too am an architecture/old building buff, so the mysterious imagery really speaks to me. I love your pairing choices - I never considered botanicals, but they look lovely along side the architectural imagery - especially the Faceted Garden & Botanical Inspirations, which are both gems. I may pull out my Tarot of Mystical Moments and see how that looks with it! Curious to hear what others impressions are, as many are just receiving this 10th anniversary version in the mail now.
