i always thought that TA4 getting just one more DP note would actually make it good. so they did it. they coulda left at that. but they gave uppercut and beatdown an unnecessary amount of stun, so now it's just OP.
Yeah I used it a long while back and the dp node and nails getting fixed(aka not stopping midair after moving 2 feet) was all it needed. But now in the current state of YBA, that's not viable anymore due to the massive influx of Stands that can delete your hp in just a couple moves, coincidentally those same Stands also seem to have massive stun options. Unless you're a massive fan of the game or just really really good at pvp, I honestly wouldn't recommend people play the game considering 99% of the content is pvp based

Also RHCP has been over buffed, it now has no weaknesses, it's a close combat stand but also a range combat stand that has true M1s into pinky and into jabs, flash combos into discharge and there's no way to stop the stand now. HOW ARE ALL OF YOU STILL SAYING RHCP ISN'T OP. I main RHCP, and I can certainly say that it is OP, I test all my combos on block dummies that just recently spawned, not block broken ones, those are more stunned, but enough explanation, let me say why it's OP. With a Hamon build, this stand has fast true M1s that deal 6.9 dmg, a combo extender that deals around 40, pinky deals 50 and DOES combo off of M1s, has discharge which would be fine if it weren't because of the other skills that are OP, has TP dashes, a pilot that helps you land all your moves easily, and it's amazingly hard to see what's even hitting you with all of the visual glitches, so this is a good close range stand, a mid middle range stand, and a good long range stand... all of these things aren't good enough individually but having so many tools in a moveset is what makes it OP, I'll know if you didn't read this, now go and play before claiming stuff.

Leaving it at the one dp increase would’ve been reasonable, Tusk isn’t exactly the best but it was lacking physical power to match projectiles. It’s nice we got that, but the other changes are just blatantly overpowered and done for attention to the update
I was using tusk because of the really fast new nail glide, and I looked at the patch notes and thought: “surely it isn’t THAT much stun right?” And I went into a single 1v1s match and oneshotted someone with the uppercut - bd - uppercut combo route. They had good ping and were constantly buffering block so I knew what was wrong and switched to something else after I left to give them the W. Not touching the stand until this is FIXED.

eclipse you can check the hp of anything by using crazy diamonds new beatdown, check how much the beatdown heals the player and lets say the heal was 20.8, multiply by 10 and you get 208 which is their health (works on npcs too)

Here's the combo's damage: 97 (first section up until Beatdown) + 60 (I didnt factor in the 0.1 barrage and 0.2 barrage) + After the beatdown, the combo did 194.9 = 351.9 damage in total. It will do 263.9 against boxing. Max vitality + boxing passives is around 252HP. It will not one shot vboxing. THIS IS THE MINIMUM DAMAGE. I didn't calculate the 0.1 or 0.2 barrage in the BD. Tusks barrage does 62 damage in total and has 39 hits in it. (I didnt count Hamon or spin because they probably wont be active for the duration of that combo). GENERAL STATEMENTS ABOUT TUSK: Tusk needed that damage buff. Simply because stands like SP, TW, TWAU and even base D4C would out damage. SP, TW and TWAU had better options in Close quarters and better comos. TWAU was just a batter stand. Tusks m1s did do 0.1 more damage but that was it. Tusk was harder to get than SPTW and KCR. The latter two stands did more damage. Even if we forget that you get 3 free requiem arrows for getting Max level, winning 1 SBR would get you a requiem arrow in contrast to needing multiple wins for POTENTIALLY getting a Pelvis and Arm. Wormhole uppercut also needed a buff, it was too slow and wasnt worth it, Plus if you blocked and reacted youd get free damage.
So with your calculations. Do you think something like WA vamp boxing can survive? With its high defenses and vamp blood I think it might Edit: Nvm vboxing alone survives LOL

Never saw the point in buffing ta4, it was fine before, the extra dp upgrade is questionable but I would've been fine if that was the only buff. What I suggest is maybe making uppercut more noticeable but not as slow as the old one. I also suggest remove the stun all together from uppercut and beat down as they make 0 sense being there.
Imo, increase all uppercuts (wormhole uppercut, zipper uppercut and void surprise) hitbox and make them either blockable or parriable (probably blockable for wormhole and zipper, parriable for void) that would make it so u cant escape it with dash or jumping anymore but still being fair

Your only good moves before was either trying to combo start with wormhole nails, or try and rely on nails to combo escape, which we all know how that goes. The stand was incredibly player dependent, with literally only one move that you would have to react to in order to counter the stand. But this new tusk is absolutely broken. Wormhole uppercut would’ve been decently fine if it didn’t stun at the end, same with the beatdown.

@@Colon_D I personally use to play it, ta4 vamp all be it. I picked vamp since it gives free nails. Most tusks before the update just played ranged as they should and only went close to get a block break or parry for a bd.

I can almost guarantee the wormhole uppercut stun was a bug. I assume the devs earlier made the stun end after a set time after the move activated instead of after it landed to prevent hitbox delay nonsense, but they forgot to change it but the move is faster so now it stuns for too long.
YOURE SO RIGHT that has to be what happened because the same thing happened months ago when they made timestop slower and Platinum slam faster; when timestop was made slower they didn’t extend the endlag stun of using the move so you could use other moves right before the timestop actually started, allowing time skip right before time stop (or any more in the game, including cancelling your own rage mode depletion) and with platinum slam being faster, your character was derpily walking around stuck in the old endlag of a previously slower move.

@@itzkizo3770 Becuase people can't use a stand doesn't mean its weak those are two different things and I have played 1v1s with tusk and against good tusk players and it is by no means weak neither is it hard to use, even is you have trash aim as long as you know how to do nail glide wormhole nails and bd you are pretty much set, and spin had a 50% true combo with tusk if you had good fps.
I think what happened here is that uzu just made it faster but didn't reduce to stun time to go with it. So you are stunned for the extra time the tp used to take.
Tbh tusk act 4 was strong before in my opinion because if they block wormhole nail you can just use golden rectangle nail and they can't do anything about it or if they don't block same scenario, also golden rectangle nail has a tiny bit of stun so if timed right you can land bd, jaw breaker, eye gouge when they get up, also nail shots have hyper armour so if someone is winning an m1 trade you can use nail shots into another move

If you block jaw breaker after one stack you are instantly dead, you can’t even barrage back! This is literally the C-Moon auto combo but WORSE THAN PRE-NERF. Holy Christ.

I think it would’ve been better if it was unblockable but you could also move in the wormhole sort of like that one bugs bunny move from multi versus,you shoot a nail,enter a wormhole,walk around and go under your opponent,press the button again for tusk to come out of the worm hole and uppercut the enemy.

I use Tusk Act 4 for a really long time and it really needed a buff. An experienced player could easily block wormhole uppercut and the nails. I was happy once i saw the uppercut being much faster but the stun is too much either they reduce the stun or completely remove it. PLUS: the new added 2 maps are so f***ing glitchy %90 percent of the time when i use wormhole uppercut in the 2 new added maps i just get stuck in the ground and cant get out till i use another uppercut. And sometimes when i use my beatdown it teleports people above Morioh map (the place where you wait till 1v1 starts) causing their games to crash. (same happened to me few times)
to clear things up paragon mentioned in one of the announcements channel that the stun was unintentional and probably a bug (don't know why that hasn't been fixed) and to eclipse complaining about pointless invisible walls it's to avoid diavolo flinging and despawning
The invisible walls at the end is to prevent people cheesing the diavolo with pilot stands and make people learn how to just press block smh is just one key why is hard
I agree with eclipse on this. I played tusk act 4 since i got it and thats mainly because its very versatile. TA4's main weakness was blocking but people just dont block enough in this game. Really sad with the change because i know for sure i will get shit on by the players if i play ta4 even though iv always played TA4. Really hope they nerf the stun or completely remove it.
I used to use anubis pluck because I got kikoku and found it cool. Learned that it was braindead yet i still lost 90% of my games (except that one game) which just shows how bad i am

Btw, if u didn't know u can actually see how much hp an npc's hp is with CD beatdown. How? it heals u up by 1/10 of ur hp. so if u multiply the amount of one heal does, u can see how much HP a boss / npc has

I think those walls at 10:06 are for the very rare case where some poor laggy soul sends diavolo flying off the building, it sometimes happened on the old map so maybe they added those to prevent that?
Ta4 never really needed buffs. The only reason people think Tusk is bad is because the nails don’t work half the time and uppercut was god awful. The weird thing about uppercut is that there wasn’t really a way to buff it without making it ludicrously overpowered. Obviously the stun on getup was really dumb and should not have been added, however I don’t think the decreased startup should have been added either. Because of the way lag compensation works, the opponent realistically has very little time to react and this is made even worse because the game servers are often terrible effectively guaranteeing uppercut off nails.
I remember when after the map change update, NPC time stops were broken to the point where if an NPC stopped time then not only will their time stop not work but they will also start running in place and generally not attack you. That's how I incredibly easily got Made in Heaven
Not sure if anyone knows yet but sometimes in 1v1s for me when tusk bds me i get sent the the top of the map and they win. They win because my game just crashes everytime from the bd and I actually have to go to task manager to close Roblox out and still hear the bd for sometime. This only happens in the new map with the huge fire in the middle.
tusk is now very op u can confirm wormhole beat down from guard break and parry and u get end lag and stand crash after the beatdown so that means u can confirm BEATDOWN ON IT

Crazy diamond is also insanely busted. The new rock trap stuns for WAY too long, and you can LOOP RAGE MODE. Plus a TRACKING BLOCK BREAKING AND STUNNING PROJECTILE. Sure you need to land the blood slash first, but even if they block it, you can still fire the tracking projectile. As if guns weren’t already busted enough, let’s make a gun that has aim bot!!!

Uzu should just rework tusk again with more moves that are based better on the manga and better bd animations. It's Tusk act 4, the last act and it sucks for a stand that is consider one of the top tier stands on jojo.
@@Colon_D I personally use to play it, ta4 vamp all be it. I picked vamp since it gives free nails. Most tusks before the update just played ranged as they should and only went close to get a block break or parry for a bd.
@@somerandomperson4586 it's not your opinion, tusk never could handle pressure. Most moves got canceled unless you got the combo going. It was best to just stay back and shoot at enemies but now all tusks just wormhole then go for uppercut and most cases it hits.

You still can cheese diavolo with classic stairs trick but this time it's not stairs, it's details of something which you can climb on.
I can almost guarantee the wormhole uppercut stun was a bug. I assume the devs earlier made the stun end after a set time after the move activated instead of after it landed to prevent hitbox delay nonsense, but they forgot to change it but the move is faster so now it stuns for too long.

YOURE SO RIGHT that has to be what happened because the same thing happened months ago when they made timestop slower and Platinum slam faster; when timestop was made slower they didn’t extend the endlag stun of using the move so you could use other moves right before the timestop actually started, allowing time skip right before time stop (or any more in the game, including cancelling your own rage mode depletion) and with platinum slam being faster, your character was derpily walking around stuck in the old endlag of a previously slower move.
This is what happens when we joke on something for too long, happened with zamasu in Dbfz and now it's tusk in yba

As a pre-update tusk user, I can agree with the fact that tusk act 4 was alright, mid if you prefer it that way

I think what happened here is that uzu just made it faster but didn't reduce to stun time to go with it. So you are stunned for the extra time the tp used to take.
Tbh tusk act 4 was strong before in my opinion because if they block wormhole nail you can just use golden rectangle nail and they can't do anything about it or if they don't block same scenario, also golden rectangle nail has a tiny bit of stun so if timed right you can land bd, jaw breaker, eye gouge when they get up, also nail shots have hyper armour so if someone is winning an m1 trade you can use nail shots into another move

I think just the damage node was okay, with what Tusk is, it being on par with most Stands damage wise didn't make much sense.

I use Tusk Act 4 for a really long time and it really needed a buff. An experienced player could easily block wormhole uppercut and the nails. I was happy once i saw the uppercut being much faster but the stun is too much either they reduce the stun or completely remove it. PLUS: the new added 2 maps are so f***ing glitchy %90 percent of the time when i use wormhole uppercut in the 2 new added maps i just get stuck in the ground and cant get out till i use another uppercut. And sometimes when i use my beatdown it teleports people above Morioh map (the place where you wait till 1v1 starts) causing their games to crash. (same happened to me few times)
Same goes to cream void surprise in the new maps , u just get stucked on the floor
to clear things up paragon mentioned in one of the announcements channel that the stun was unintentional and probably a bug (don't know why that hasn't been fixed) and to eclipse complaining about pointless invisible walls it's to avoid diavolo flinging and despawning

I agree with eclipse on this. I played tusk act 4 since i got it and thats mainly because its very versatile. TA4's main weakness was blocking but people just dont block enough in this game. Really sad with the change because i know for sure i will get shit on by the players if i play ta4 even though iv always played TA4. Really hope they nerf the stun or completely remove it.
I used to use anubis pluck because I got kikoku and found it cool. Learned that it was braindead yet i still lost 90% of my games (except that one game) which just shows how bad i am

I think those walls at 10:06 are for the very rare case where some poor laggy soul sends diavolo flying off the building, it sometimes happened on the old map so maybe they added those to prevent that?

Ta4 never really needed buffs. The only reason people think Tusk is bad is because the nails don’t work half the time and uppercut was god awful. The weird thing about uppercut is that there wasn’t really a way to buff it without making it ludicrously overpowered. Obviously the stun on getup was really dumb and should not have been added, however I don’t think the decreased startup should have been added either. Because of the way lag compensation works, the opponent realistically has very little time to react and this is made even worse because the game servers are often terrible effectively guaranteeing uppercut off nails.

Not sure if anyone knows yet but sometimes in 1v1s for me when tusk bds me i get sent the the top of the map and they win. They win because my game just crashes everytime from the bd and I actually have to go to task manager to close Roblox out and still hear the bd for sometime. This only happens in the new map with the huge fire in the middle.
tusk is now very op u can confirm wormhole beat down from guard break and parry and u get end lag and stand crash after the beatdown so that means u can confirm BEATDOWN ON IT
Dude they must just change the actual wind up and try to make the wormhole unblockable and unparyable there for if you use the worm hole uppercut therefore if you use it no one will be punish.
Honestly as a tusk main I couldn’t be happier, source material wise ta4 is supposed to be one of the strongest stands in the franchise either way
The only reason I would use this is grinding stands like twoh with sbr kills because I kind of suck at pvp and get destroyed when teamed on

Crazy diamond is also insanely busted. The new rock trap stuns for WAY too long, and you can LOOP RAGE MODE. Plus a TRACKING BLOCK BREAKING AND STUNNING PROJECTILE. Sure you need to land the blood slash first, but even if they block it, you can still fire the tracking projectile. As if guns weren’t already busted enough, let’s make a gun that has aim bot!!!
