What scares all mustang owners is not the drift , its the end of a drift
Snap oversteer.
Do you know how to fix the snap oversteer besides pointing the wheel straight I have one of these
@@Fast4.6 sometimes u need a little gas to control the snap oversteer. And sometimes u need to hold the hand brake until the car fixes in more controllable state. It depends on ur skills

Really cool video and it's nice to know that a stock s197 can drift that well! That video convinced me. Won't do it with my '07 vert as it is my "show car", but I'm looking add another 05-09 GT Coupe manual not too clean that I won't care to beat and will surely try this next summer, if I can find one t'ill summertime. As any mustang driver will tell you, the car handles decent wether you're cruising or hammering on it, and theyll caution that it is not bashful about spinning the tires but soothe that by saying it's very controllable while drifting... but all mustang owners know just how hard the car will snap oversteer and 180 on a dime if you mess up getting it going straight again and at 7:37 thats exactly what it looks like... and also why I'm searching for 18"wheels for my car now(I had a whoopsie at 3am drifting in the snow🤷)
I screwed up on my v6 in the rain going a little too fast on a curve and hit a guard rail. My reaction to the under steer was to try and give it throttle and that didn’t work.
Open differentials are never predictable. I’m pretty confident I would have been okay and just have spun out instead of hitting something. Car will be back soon anyway

@@JFFaris i highly would recommend it. Broke or not its honestly a really great car. Just keep up with the maintenance, do some research on common issues and you'll be good to go

They were little 17s with tiny sidewalls lol but I think they were like 225/35/17s
