Here we go again, stop speculating, and let him heal. Cancer is not always a death sentence these days. I'm sure he is getting the best treatment . Chemotherapy absolutely drains you. My son in law had chemo because of bladder cancer. He was so tired and feeling sick. But after the course finished he has picked up been through his operation and is now doing very well
I'm very happy Yr son in law is recovering well. The majority of families hv been touched by cancer, my own included. It's a daunting disease.🙏

I'm a retired chemotherapy nurse and believe me he looks ok . I've seen people not be able to get out of bed . He's coping well . Chemotherapy is changing all the time to developed chemo with less side effects and the use of monoclonal anti bodies.

The further into chemo you get, the worse you feel. He’s beginning to get that grey pallor that goes with this disease. It’s simply awful what’s expected of this 75 year old cancer sufferer. All you want to do during this treatment is to curl up in bed and be left alone.

Yes it does. My mom had to take chemo in 2021 for breast cancer. She was miserable, she lost her hair, lost weight, couldn't eat hardly anything and all she wanted to do was sleep. They need to leave King Charles alone. Just support him while he is going thru this, stop analyzing everything. What did they expect, for him to be skipping thru the palace all happy?!
Luckily, not everyone is badly affected by chemo. Other than losing his hair- and he didn’t have much to lose- my husband pretty much sailed through. God save the King.
I was so miserable and it took me a year to get back on my feet. Even today, I fear for it coming back. You feel so drained and lack energy.
He looks frail a bit but he seems in good mood. Personally I don't recall that chemo makes thinner lips but rather thinner hair and being nauseous. 🥴

I was very lucky to receive the Maundy money two years ago by the then Prince Charles on behalf of the Queen, it was a lovely service and I felt very honoured to receive the money, get well soon King Charles and Princess Catherine xx

Seeing King Charles going to Easter Sunday Mass today I thought he looked absolutely amazing considering what he is going through. A true King. God Bless Him.

My friend got 5 units of chemo over 24 hours (wednesday/thursday every 3 weeks. It never stopped her from hitting the town on thursday night. How she managed it I'll never know.
Isn’t it interesting how different people react to cancer treatments? Some are able to more or less carry on, others are absolutely laid low by it. I know it depends on which treatments/drugs are used. But still, people are amazing.

I think HM the King looks resonably well compared with what he looked when his mother died and he had to take up the resposibilities of the monarchy. He seems more relaxed, more assured and no longer under the severe strain he must have been under. Brits need to be reminded he is also king of Canada, Australia, New Zealand and several other countries as well as being head of the Commonwealth. God Save the King.

I remember a song by Stanley Holloway (I think) about a man who had been seriously ill but was getting better. He went out for a walk and on his way met several people who said to him “my word, you do look ill, my word you do look bad”; he slowly started to feel worse until he met another friend who said “my word you do look well, my word you do look good”, so his step started to buck up and his arms started to swing and he happily walked on his way. Just saying.

Chemo is a major treatment- he won’t be feeling too well either,probably but what we are seeing is normal 😢what most people have when going through chemotherapy. We may well see the same with our princess too.but it’s normal.
