R. I. P Randy 😪🔥🤘
oh shit, great drummer :(
@@tioposer Yep, he sure was. Although the group that backed OZZY, went through several lineup changes during the history as the OZZY OSBOURNE solo career band, Randy was in Ozzy's band for the long haul, as he drummed his way through the, "The Ultimate Sin" recording and touring cycle. Plus, "The Ultimate Live Ozzy: In Concert" (released on VHS/DVD). "No Rest For The Wicked" recording and touring cycle. Plus, "Just Say OZZY"(released as live EP), "No More Tears" recording and touring cycle. Plus, "Live & Loud" (released on CD/DVD). Also, Randy Castillo performed on the first and second legs of the OZZY "Ozzmosis/Retirement Sucks World Tour".
I was lucky enough to see him at Hammersmith Odeon and he was lowered to the stage twirling his drumsticks the whole time! What an awesome entrance - phenomenal drummer R. I. P Randy

Zakks solo in the end was a ridiculously perfect way of showing how he zones into the exact feeling and sounds of others masterpiece guitarwork and ingenious ways of playing and takes you even farther to the next level of understanding just how ingenious he is! Fucking Master

This is one of the greatest performances ever. Quite literally everything is perfect.
If you'r a ten year old... how about the original version on the ultimate sin?
Ozzy has definitely had too much to drink here. But other than that I totally agree. Even for his drunk performances this isnt too bad though.
Still think the frankenstein 'live' shot in the dark from Just Say Ozzy is better.
(I know its not a true live performance, but it does sound great)
Ozzy had some damn good guitarists... when Randy died... I don’t even want to talk about it. RIP Legendary Randy Rhoads
Nobody wants to talk to you about it. 🙄
@@ravenfeathesDVM ? I’m not asking for someone to talk to me about the guitarist. I was gonna talk about Randy but I just couldn’t. He was fantastic that’s all I could say. I’m not asking for someone to chat about him.

As mush as I love Jake E. Lee and Brad Gillis, yes I think Ozzy wasn't and couldn't find a guitarist the same level of Randy Rhoades. If the lost sessions with Steve Vai were released then I think Ozzy finally did. Jake was also great. The tiny fills that he did in the songs in the Ultimate Sin album were just unbelievable! And he had the best stage moves of all. Brad was great with Night Ranger. I love his solos BUT I didn't like his solos in Speak of the Devil.
The man who inspired me to play guitar
OMG! I loved this line-up! Flawless Geezer on bass, monster drumming from Randy, Ozzy at his mature prime, and Zakk Wylde The Beast!! I remember watching this live on TV, first time I ever saw Zakk. I was blown away. I was playing guitar back then, 14 years old, I remember copying his style and all his moves. A year later I had my first gig in front of 1k people shirtless with leather bell-bottom pants, my guitar hanging in between my legs. I was an exact copy only my long hair was black and not blond lol
@Lonesome Crambo same awesomeness level also. Especially Jake and Tommy!
Live tv 📺 !? Crazy bro soo cool 🤟
what band were you in? did you guys release any album or demo?
So you're obama rigth
I was 14 and had the same reaction. I applaud you for taking it to the next level. I did not do that and should have.
I never get tired of this song!!
Moscow music peace festival. Ozzy left it all out on the stage with this performance. I remember watching live on pay per view as a kid. Thanx Mom and Dad for being so cool and ordering it.
And I watched it live on CZcams.
I think Zakk is one of the, if not the, most "appropriate" shredders of our time. He rarely overplays, and is always in time with his riffs, bridges, and soloing. GREAT video, and I suspect one of the all-time events.
It's amazing that he was only 22 then. Unreal!! Now look at him and all of the success he has achieved

Ozzy absolutely stole this show, Like Queen did at Live-Aid. Neither was the headliner but both were the best on stage by a mile that day. This show was one of my introductions to Ozzy. I was waiting to see Motley Crue but after Ozzy, Crue was an afterthought LOL

I don't care what kind of metalhead you are, you owe it to yourself to see Ozzy live! I love every era of Metal but my personal favorites are Death Metal and Black Metal bands ,as well as, swedish Death Metal from the 90s to present BUT I caught Ozzy last year and it's still one of the best Metal performances in the world! Yes! Very much agreed, my good friend!
There was never a showman on the drums like Randy Castillo! That guy could rock something terrible! ,👍👍♥️
I'm here after reading an article about Ozzy's latest surgery due to a fall and what a rough time he's had since then...they had to cut through nerves to perform the surgery so he's got one permanently cold arm...he developed numerous blood clots during recovery...while in the hospital he got the flu which developed into pneumonia (which is a life threatening situation for anyone over the age of 65). Now at home, he's questioning whether he'll ever tour again. Even if he does bow out of any future touring, I'd love to hear some new music. Seriously, some of the best songs he's ever written have been relatively recent, "Life Won't Wait", "Time" and "Running Out Of Time".
I got to thinking too, this guy has been around since I was a kid. There is no one out there I listened to as a kid that still makes relevant music today. He's like the soundtrack of my life so far. And reading how close he came to death this last bout, it made me think, I'm pretty sure I will be sincerely heart broken when this guy leaves us.

Image what Ozzy could have accomplished if he's been sober the entire 50 years of his career. It's actually quite miraculous what he's done while being stoned and drunk out of his mind most of the time. Riding on serious natural talent.
I wonder if Ozzy sobered up would he change his mind and do something else. Maybe his partying kept his music career alive.

Zakk was killing it!! Awesome live version!!!
Father Zakk has always been one of the most interesting guitarists in metal, a guy that made iconic riffs his own without missing a beat! (No pun intended) 🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻
In a dual-off between Zakk and Tipton/Downing it would be CLOSE. The Soviet Government hardly knew what to do with this much freedom- glad the kids got to experience it...
He plays this wrong. I've had a boner for this riff since it came out. It sounds different. Stud Jake wrote this in a whacky tuning which I sorted through and could almost play. But Zakk is faking it here and you can hear the obvious shortcut in the plain ol' power cord usage.
I can’t stop watching this. The energy everyone in the band brings plus the joy in the stadium. Very special and kick ass!
