As I mentioned in my blog earlier, the authentic sounds of London have arrived here in my channel!
You are now watching my first video of the announcements from London, which is London Underground District Line on board announcements from Ealing Broadway to Tower Hill, recorded on an S Stock train.
If you are a Londoner you might know -- if not you wouldn't know but -- S Stock trains operating on District, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines have the most state-of-the-art on board announcement system in the world -- it does have service update announcements.
Service update messages are only given when it is set at Hammersmith Service Control Centre, so it is actually an epoch-making feature but unfortunately it is rarely used.
That's like a white elephant isn't it? Here I serve you a chaotic video of S Stock's announcements; in this video, there is always a service update message in the announcements upon arrival at EVERY STATION and even while standing at some stations.
Station closure, severe delays, Piccadilly Line non-stopping at South Kensington, part closure following planned engineering work, a faulty escalator at Earl's Court -- you can enjoy irregular automated announcements as much as you want!

And remember, more videos are coming in the next few months. Victoria line's chaotic announcements which have service update messages as well as S Stock is also to be posted by the end of this month.
