I am brand new to your channel, this is actually my first vlog of yours! I absolutely love the bag. I have been spying it too. The only reason I was hesitant is because I heard some content creators say that the vernis leather can yellow over time. It would be hard for me to let go of once I had it in my home! 🩵
Hey there, Ruth! Welcome to the family! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. Do you have a sales associate at LV? I would speak to them about the vernis color issues and ask what they can/will do about it if it happens.
I do know that this is an issue with light colored patent leather in general. I recently sold white Prada sandals on Poshmark and was shocked to pull them out of storage and see that they were now yellow sandals! Thankfully it was Spring and the buyer decided that she still wanted them. So these things do happen.
I just took my once pink vernis Alma BB out of storage and it's turned beige. I did notice the color change gradually happening but it wasn't after taking it out of its dust bag for the first time in months that I could really see it. I actually love the current color so I have no plans to go to LV about it. But I would definitely encourage you to speak to someone and see what LV can do if the bag changes to something you don't like.

Super cute. I would worry the clip would dent the leather.
I wonder if it would leave a mark one way or another - either by leaving marks on the leather handle and/or by affecting how the leather patinas over time. Excellent point!
