  • In today's episode we look at an event that occurred on December 16, 1927, when Confederate veterans from Virginia, North Carolina, and Texas, along with a delegation of representatives from Maine, were received by President Calvin Coolidge at the White House following a presentation of the return of captured battle flags from Maine to representatives of the southern veterans.

      The 369th Infantry Regiment was not permitted to march in the Farewell Parade prior to shipping off to Europe for WWI. They were shipping off as a member of the 42nd Division called 'The Rainbow Division' and some wisenheimer concluded, 'black isn't a color of the rainbow'.
      A blessing to meet a true hero. True heroes never chirp about it themselves so you could work with one for years and never know. Some true heroes have their exploits covered up and hidden from the public. I submit that in 1927 the true measure of a hero was truncated and crippled.

When you see how this symbol is being dragged through the mud by do-gooders in our time, you feel different. The distortions of history that are being presented to the population today are disgraceful. What would the old veterans on both sides have said about this? It would have been a shock.

    I love these proud and courageous heroes. They fought to try and protect our southern land, from being destroyed and taken, by an invading enemy. They knew they were vastly outnumbered, and that all the cards were stacked against them. Yet they fought anyway. They held out for four long and brutal years, against an enemy that had every single advantage over them. Including a seemingly neverending supply of men to fight. Along with a seemingly limitless amount of food, supplies and weaponry. Today, these brave and honorable men, are being slandered, and called evil monsters, and every child from day one of starting school, is being bombarded with the lie, that these men were fighting to keep slaves in bondage. Which they are easily buyinh into. Then they are trying to destroy every single bit of history, so that nothing remains, that might have a chance of making any of these young people, second guess what they are being taught. Its disgusting, and Im completely ashamed of how many of us southerners especially, who have sat back, and done nothing to stop this! God bless the memory of each and every single one of these men, who went and fought to protect their families and their homeland. Im not talking about the very small percentage of them, who's goal was to protect slavery. That should be a given.

    These men fought for their homes and families not for slavery as they try to make it today. The North invaded the south and it was not against the constitution to succeed. In fact if the government became tyrannical, it was their duty. Brave confederate heros and should be honored for their courage and dedication. The idea of Federal Government then was a secondary thing it was the state that was THEIR COUNTRY. States rights a key element without federal intervention and heavy taxes against the agricultural South.

    Back when you're friends and neighbors knew that certain things are just the way it was all people are the same even if they fought for the wrong side of cause. These people who are involved in wars especially the grunts on the ground are just doing what is best for the family at the time. Better to fight and keep your family alive than to disobey and have your family murdered and you getting shot for not complying to the big army or people in charge. Being dead and having no family or being maimed and no family is worse than not complying and fighting and serving with dignity so your family can live there lives healthier than if you don't. Everyone has had this in place in the countries of the world if you believe it or not. The Germans, Russians, French, British, and even the United States to a lesser extent but never the less bottom line is you are going to serve if they want you to, you are not going to have a choice and if you get one it will not be to your liking guaranteed that to be a fact. Even our government is known to make people disappear and never be ever again for anything that they see fit to do so. Great evening to you all and remember that I didn't mention that another 20+ countries are on this list. Not every nation has our special rights and freedoms to be able to speak up, lobby against or for things and especially the big and best one the second amendment that preserves all the rest and the Constitution of the nation that the rest of the world wish that they have

    • @rt3box6tx74
      @rt3box6tx74 Před 20 dny

      There was no wrong cause, or wrong side of a cause - there was a difference of opinion on a matter of written law and an unstable man (potus) financed to run for president by foreign industrialists. Their candidate, a non-religious man who used scripture as a tool was elected to lead the nation assisted by terrorist thugs known as the Wide Awake Club.
      If there existed an honest high court today economic evidence alone would prove states had a righg to withdraw from an alliance that was controlling their prosperity via over taxation.
      When during the campaign of 1860 southern states brought up taxation tyranny they were met with accusations of treason and threatened with invasion.
      Before or since 1860 when was there ever a major election when taxation wasn't an important issue? What does your county commissioner's board argue about most? Same with local school board..
      It wasn't the Union Lincoln sought to preserve, it was the new Republican Party, a vulnerable institution of European agents of the Rothschild family hellbent on controlling the USA's economy for 150 yrs. The prosperity of the south couldn't be left in the hands of people whose allegiance was first to their religion, then to their family and their state. There was too much opportunity to control (tax) commerce to leave grassroots governance alone to prosper in peace.
