How many other women out there closed their eyes and imagined they were expirencing all this with Michael Landon as he spoke. . . . . . . I LOVE YOU MICHAEL!
Hello xobrentox !, You are not the ONLY One who wants that Model of Epcot. I REALLY would love to have a Model of The Cinderella Castle in The Magic Kingdom. ~ Dwight
My one Pet Peeve: 3:03! Walt Disney ACTUALLY said "...finding solutions to the problems of our cities." The One thing that haunts me to this very day... The one thing that could make a difference...
The Land? Looks more like a mall foodcourt inside than a "land pavilion", fountains, murals, etc removed. The Seas recently had new life with its character tie in, but Future World itself is in a sad state these days.
It's a shame that Epcot, for all intents and purposes, is little more than a glorified food court these days. Energy Paviliion? Stagnant. WoL Pavilion? Abandoned, closed except for the garden festival (at a time when we -all- should be concerned with our health) Horizons? Replaced with a very plain flight simulator. Motion? Became test track, which isn't bad by itself, but cannot carry the weight of the others. Imagination? Probably the saddest area in all of WDW. Continued in my next post...
The only thing that should have went was World of Motion im fine with Test Track but the rest of them shouldn't have got the fate they got in the late 90s sadly I wasn't alive in the 80s to experience Epcot Center
It saddens some to watch this cause people, especially kids, don't believe in magic anymore. They just want bigger, faster roller coasters and violent, sexual movies and video games and gadgets that feed that frenzy and Hollywood is more than happy to provide that for the money! Keep your kids close, eat meals together, shelter them from what they shouldn't see and hear, go to church, pray and keep your family intact. Some still believe in magic and what Walt did, hang out w/ them!
Mike, you are the best!! I will love you forever MICHAEL LANDON!
30 years ago I on my first trip to EPCOTmy mom and me love it.
I like how this was shot..If produced today it would be all fast cuts and blasting hip hop garbage and no information.

Happy 30th EPCOT Center!
800 million dollars?! and EPCOT ended up being 1.4 billion! might was well have built the city...
Thanks for posting this. What an amazing place EPCOT Center was before Eisner and his stooges frakked it all up.
So true, there is something wrong with society today. It's really saddening and it depressing for me to watch this.
Ayye it's Charles from Little House on The Prairie!

That crazy Landon. Every time I see him I think Teenage Werewolf. But I never think that about Michael J. Fox.
Anyone find the soundtrack to this? Love it!

They need to make a movie about Walt Disney, if that happened, who do you think would get the part?
they just did one with tom hanks.

Sadly the 21st century's not like what he thought and he's not around either :(
