every Friday afternoon/evening on the Montauk Branch in the summer looks very similar to this. the Cannonball is the hottest train on the railroad and is one of the longest distance non Amtrak trains you can ride in the United States. also featured in the beginning is a not so great shot of New York & Atlantic Railway RS71 heading back to Fresh Pond after switching on the main east of Ronkonkoma.
