You are playing a (much less dangerous) form of russian roulette; you are banking on food inspection catching all malpractice and randomly sampling enough to preventing infected pork products from entering the food supply. Raw bacon is not much safer than raw porkchops. You can take that bet, and you will win it almost all of the time because controls are pretty good these days; but next time someone gets trichinellosis, it will be someone like you who takes that risk repeatedly.

HELLO KAYE My wife and I LOVED This recipe! We thoroughly enjoyed the use of bacon and chicken and substituting pasta for extra mayo! Even with that, we found there wasn't quite enough mayo, so we added a little mayo on top at the end (after cooking) which helped cool it down and get rid of some of the spiciness! It was very much tastier. THank you again, we love you xo

You rub mayo all over raw chicken, then roll in crushed corn flakes and bake. It actually pretty good, at home I'd add seasonings to mayo before putting on the chicken. Mayo is nothing but oil and eggs ! I've heard of people using it in cake mix to instead of oil.

Try this recipe Kay. It kept me going in student days. Cook pasta in salted water. Strain the pasta & put on a low heat. Stir thru a knob of butter to coat the pasta. Add tuna, sweetcorn and mayo. Serve. If you like, fry some diced onion & mushrooms and mix thru. Serve.
