In this video we go over the Li-Ning Sonic 11:
Cushioning is sufficient, transition is super smooth while traction performance is excellent on all types of dust settings. The Cool Shell upper makes it very breathable, but keep in mind that the shoes can feel a little bit long on feet, even though the amount of space inside is just fine. They weigh right around average compared to other hoop shoes out there - at 430g for size 11. You can either go true to size or half size up.

While the complaints about the laces seem fair, I think from looking at the tongue design, you are supposed to loop the laces through one of the small holes on each side, choosing the ones that fit the size of your ankle and provide the best comfort/lockdown. Let me know how much better it becomes since I feel like there's no way they design a tongue with a shape like that, and holes like that without the whole thing being on purpose.

Great review as usual. Curious to hear your thoughts, how do you like these in comparison to the Lirens? I really enjoy the cushioning on the Lirens as my favorite part of the shoe, but these definitely got me curious. (I also just copped the Bad Five 3s, and am curious to see how they'll perform once they ship here.)
I would say the cushion and overall fit are where the Liren III V2 takes a slight edge over these. Both great shoes! These are a little bit more breathable. 😃

Liren III V2 is the best shoe overall from those in my opinion, but no bad pick there really I think they’re all great options for guards. 😃

Did the upper material expand like the all city 11 v1? Just bought mine and they feel really snug 😓
Umm a little bit? For me the material comfort was good to go from the start, so I’m not entirely sure if it’ll definitely get better over time…

I went half size up, fits me pretty well or you can also go TTS for a more snug fit.

I went half size up in both. However Speed 9 Ultra fits really tight and snug so half size up is a must to me, Sonic 11 I feel like you can go true to size as well.
